“Clean and Comfortable.”
Reviewed 20 August 2014 via mobile

Our three night stay at this hotel was wonderful. Every employee was friendly and helpful. Our standard queen room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The hotel location was perfect, near the plaza and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Our room rate was considerably discounted because we booked weeks in advance, but non- refundable. I would definitely stay at the Bond Place again.

We where there for business, we rent 5 rooms and one was a handicap one. First we arrive and the hotel look good, but that was it. Here start the nightmare, we arrive the handicap room was not ready and they told us they will call on our cel phone when it will be ready...4h later no call. When we arrive in the standard room you will see the smaller room you ever see, to single bed, yes you read well SINGLE BED, our sleep was horrible, noise all night because the windows is not soundproof at all. The air conditionner was misplaced and you received directly the cold air on you.And when my employe receive is handicap room, it was not at all a handicap room if you are in a wheel chair forget this hotel right away, no more space between bed the shower only have handle bar but is a normal bath with not portable shower handle. We found yellow stains on the sheet and on the towel in the room. I wake up a 4am because i was not able to sleep at this uncomforted bed, so i go downstair to ask at the lobby for some change for the soda machine, so they tell me he dosent have change and i have to walk 5 min to go at a convenience store.....

The restaurant is awful the service is slow and the breakfast is always cold. My employers found a big centipede on is room wall.

the toilet sound like a 747 when you flush it, you have to pay for the wifi.

So if you are a person who like sleeping on a tent or on the floor this hotel is for you. If you like a guy who sleep in a super 8 run there a fast as you can

stayed here with my family for one night. we had two rooms booked. first of all location is very central we walked pretty much everywhere. hop on bus stops 3 minutes away from the hotel. front desk staff was very nice and helpful, they also have a person at the front desk that can arrange any kind on activities that you want. looks like hotel been recently renovated and rooms and hallways look nice and fresh. restaurant downstairs was just ok nothing special. wi-fi is not free. me and my wife had a bigger room and was pretty spacious, kids had just a small room with two twin bed and it was very, very, small, but i guess it's ok for overnight stay, parking is across the street and is $20.00 per day.

overall good experience, would probably stay here again. this hotel is very good value for the money.

This hotel was cheap and awesome! The renovations may not have been the best quality, but they are visually appealing. The staff were awesome, too!

The room was nice and clean. Modern. And had two TVs. The washroom was really nice too.

Not a single complaint.

A friend who is living in Toronto recommended us this hotel. The price range per night was within our budget and without hesitation we’ve booked it. No complaint. The hotel is right in downtown area. The Dundas square is just right there. We were there last month (July 2014), summer, when everything is lively.

The room is spacious enough and clean. The price we were paying does not include complimentary breakfast. No big deal for us. Subway is just right across the street and being in downtown area, cafes are everywhere. We didn’t even try the breakfast at the hotel, but we did check out the price. It was not so bad. A set of pancake breakfast, cost about $5. Wi-fi is also not free at this hotel, which is a big bummer considering how much we are connected to the World Wide Web these days. Whenever we really need to be connected, we just walk to the Eaton Center (mall) which is probably 3 minutes away. For Hard Rock fan (not us), the restaurant/shop is just at one of the corner of Dundas square. The bus which goes to the airport stops right in front of the hotel. Check out this link for more information http://www.torontoairportexpress.com/. I’m not able to say more of weather the attractions are nearby or not because our friend drives us around and when it is in walking distance, we just follow her. Mainly, Toronto is a stop by for us for Niagara Falls, a concert and later Prince Edward Island (the main reason for the trip this time around).

Newish renovation that is already showing wear and tear. Furnishings in the room were chipped and/or peeling. Water pressure was lacking in the shower. Parking was a fiasco. I was told NOT to park in the hotel lot as it was under renovation and directed elsewhere. Turns out the information provided was incorrect and the hotel lot was open. Despite paying twice the price for parking and getting a parking ticket, the hotel staff were unable to assist. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and the MOD and they did nothing. This centrally located hotel turned out to be a huge disappointment. Zero points for customer service, zero points for cleanliness, one point for location. Avoid!

Dear Jeffrey S,

Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your stay and experience. We appreciate our guests feedback to ensure on going improvements to our service on a day to day basis as well as ensuring our hotel is up kept regularly.

We would certainly like to follow up with you personally as this is not at all the normal experience at our hotel.

Our apologies regarding the parking garage. Our garage is currently under renovations. Generally through out the renovation we have some spots available. However our lot can fill up quickly depending on how many guests we have in house, and with the renovation we do not have all our spots available.

All of your comments will be passed along to the appropriate departments for proper follow up and resolutions.

We hope to hear from you at (416) 362 6061 to properly follow up and find some resolution for you.

Again, please accept our sincere apology for not providing you the service you deserve.

stayed here earlier this summer. reasonable price, and one of the few hotels that had a 3 bed option. good location as well, minutes away from Eaton Centre shopping Mall and other attractions. Hotel was clean, helpful staff. minor issue, parking was off-site, across the street, but it was a garage, so not a big deal.

Room Tip: room with 3 beds that i had was a decent size
