i love the hard wood floor. I had a baby crawling and its so nice for him to crawl on nice clean floor and not carpet. i thought the furniture was different and funky. I appreciated the fridge for the babies milk. stafff was super helpful. If you plan to go swimming this hotel has an awesome pool.

Overall a nice property on Toronto's waterfront. Location has pros and cons so your call - close to waterfront (nice for a walk) , Queen's Quay and close to Skydome, CN Tower and new Aquarium but bit of a walk to Eaton Center ,Yorkville ,ROM. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and modern finish ( no carpet ) with usual amenities except no safe. Weak spots were warm water (not hot) in the shower on a couple of mornings plus A/C that wasn't cooling the room. Reporting the A/C problem got a very fast response and an improvement but a suggestion not to turn temp lower than 70 F although responder indicated he would report to engineering. Risked turning temp down to 68/69 over next couple of days but no further followup from the hotel.
Pool looked tempting with nice view of the lake but didn't get chance to try although very accessible. Had a very noisy group on the Friday night of our stay (90 minutes of partying at 3 and 4 am ) but not hotel's fault and the front desk did respond quickly to our complaint .
Overall a reasonable property but a few tweaks in order.

Room Tip: North side rooms have a view of the CN Tower and surrounding buildings but view of lake from south s...

Stayed 3 nights to attend a nearby conference. Highlight was the outdoor pool and sitting area tucked in on the 5th floor with a gorgeous view of the harbour and Toronto Island on one side and CN tower on other. It felt like you were in a resort somewhere else. Tranquil morning swims with black capped chickadee singing away. Took a glass of wine up in the evening and watched the boats and the lights and the island. So many lovely sites in walking distance - theatre, dance, all sorts of art - indoor and out. Sports and aquarium nearby too. Lovely clean modern room with hardwood floor. Comfy bed with nice crisp sheets. Underground parking convenient. Check in and out very efficient and helpful staff. Try the Amsterdam brewery restaurant next door - they brew all sorts of craft beers on site and you can do a taste of them and a tour.

patricia f,

Thank you for taking the time to complete and share your review of our hotel.

Your assessment reads exactly how, we feel, the hotel should be enjoyed. A relaxing swim in the morning, maybe some breakfast on that patio and then head out for the day to explore all of the nearby attractions. Return to enjoy a night cap either with us or at one of the many fine establishments in the area whilst overlooking the comings and goings of Lake Ontario....

patricia f you hit the proverbial "nail on the head" and we appreciate the opportunity to have provided this type of stay to you. Hopefully we will not have to wait too long for a return visit.

Thank you again for the time taken.

Most Sincerely,

One of the nicest stays I have ever had in Toronto... beautiful views, a lovely property and really helpful staff! This is also one of the best conference hotels I have ever used. Near everything in downtown Toronto...you can walk to the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, the Aquarium, Harbourfront, etc.

Room Tip: Chose a lake view...well worth the upgrade!!

We stayed for one night in May 2014 and chose this hotel due to it's location. It was close to the Porter airport on Toronto Island as well as close to the Molson Amphitheatre where the concert was. There were certainly less expensive options but we were really happy with the room and the hotel in general. We were in a lakeview room on the 3rd floor. It was modern, clean and had a great "feel". We loved the hardwood floors and the simple, yet thoughtful layout of the bathroom. The view of the water gave it a very different vibe than other hotels I've stayed in Toronto. The room service was excellent and good value. Great bed/duvet/pillows but I think the walls were pretty thin. I'm a heavy sleeper so this rarely matters to me but light sleepers might want to ask for a room where few people will be walking by or opening their doors. I will stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the water. I rarely think this makes a difference but really liked the vib...
