The staff at check-in could be a lot friendlier. The room was alright. Clean sheets, comfortable bed. The drains in the bathroom were clogged (sink and bathtub/shower). The faucet for the sink was leaking. The room was very quiet even tough we were next to the elevator.
Good location and does the job for a short stay.

Room Tip: Water view is always a nice pick.

Just returned from a week stay in the Westin Harbour, we had a fantastic room for 3 of us, 2 adults and 1 child. " double beds. The hotel is right on the water front, fantastic view, our room had a view of the CN Tower and the waterfront, couldnt have asked for better and staff so friendly and helpful.
we booked through Canadian affair, paid £68.00 per room per night, the hotel direct were asking $389 CDS. Book before you go and you will be very happy

Spent a night here with our two boys age 4 and 5. The front desk staff member was nice enough to send up a couple of kids' kits that my boys loved (a hat, map, pencil crayons, stencils and postcards). Nice pool, no complaints. We were in the south tower this time, I'd ask for this one, I think it's newer then the north and is handier for the pool, restaurant and reception.

The locaton of the hotel is excellent. Right next to the lake and close to the financial district.
The rooms are spacious although the bathrooms are poorly lit and not very attractive.
The most disappointing thing was the lack of cleaining during my one week stay. Toothpaste and soap marks on the sink were left, the shower and toilet were not cleaned and shampoo and conditioner were not replaced. In fact, i got in the shower on day 4 and realised that I had no shampoo. It took them 20 minutes to bring it up to the room and I was almost late for a meeting.

The gym and pool are really nice and well kept.

The breakfast was pretty good. Would have been nice to have fresh berries insttead of canned, but apart from that it was nice. The waiter ignored us on the first day, so we didn't add a tip to the bill. When we asked for the bill he got quite pushy and told us we had to add a service charge!

Finally, an internet charge was mistakenly added to my bill. I am a platinum member and I get tired of having to ask for this to be manually taken off in some hotels. I phoned reception and had to have quite a discussion to get them to remove it without me showing up at the front desk. They wanted me to come down to reception and take care of it. The hotel is packed with huge queues at reception so I didn't want to have to deal with it.

Overal ok, but mediocre service and poor cleaning of the room somewhat compensated by the nice gym and location.

Dear Platinum Member,

I would like to apologise that your stay with us was not a great one. Providing exceptional service to all of our guests is something we are take very seriously. We pride ourselves on offering fresh SuperFoods rich menu options which includes fresh berries and our Stewed Berries/Berry Compote that we make in-house on a daily basis. It troubles me to read that you were not able to enjoy an authentic Westin experience.

Would you mind if we connected to further discuss the details you mentioned? I look forward in speaking with you when your schedule permits.

Thank you for your feedback!

Very tired Westin geared up only for conference guests. Poor and expensive restaurant/coffee facilities. They are re cycle mad paper cups boxes everywhere to collect and air con seems reduced as well as lighting. If your at their conference facility fine if not don't bother going there.

This is one of the best hotels I have seen in a city. I stayed there in October 2009 as well as a celebrity like Zinedine Zidane. I had two connecting rooms, one of which I had booked through hotwire. The location is very convenient but you are not in the centre of Toronto. If you are going to see a game at the Air canada centre, that's fine, you can walk from the hotel and see a game. I have only good things to say about this hotel. If you need to go to Ward's Island, you're good to go as well since the Ferry departs from there. They have a nice pool and a good spa and a very new gym. I'll be back for sure.

On the lake with views of Centre Island, which is a ferry away. Excellent service, comfortable rooms, valet parking and great food. Grab a hotdog outside the hotel as well. Red line double decker tour bus picks up right outside of the hotel and there is an airport shuttle service as well. Westin Kids Club amenties are provided and a children's play room (unsupervised). Parking is expensive, but there is cheaper parking in the vicinity. Eaton Centre, CN Tower and other attractions are accessible. Across the street and down the road is a fun sports bar as well as a supermarket for odds and ends. Just ask the hotel though for toiletries etc. Heated pool, great gym, activity centre for kids and adults, a business centre and much more. It was a great stay for our tour of Toronto Canada and adjacent to the Toronto Island Ferry, Harbourfront Centre, Queens Quay, and the Hockey Hall of Fame. Centre Island a lovley park and great for picnics with lovely lake views and mini amusement park. The ride on the ferry alone was worth the trip.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a Lake view, otherwise views are of the cityline or the parking lot.
