I occasionally travel to Toronto on business but rarely need to stay overnight. With an early morning meeting downtown, though, I needed to find a comfortable place to stay in town. The Hilton fit the bill - it was convenient (as is nearly everything in Toronto), clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The front desk staff was friendly, although I did get the hard sell on the hotel restaurant. No matter, there are plenty of places to eat nearby.
The room itself was great for me. Plenty of room, a very comfortable bed, and enough room in the bathroom. Only things keeping this from a 5-star rating were:
- I didn't get to visit the fitness room, so can't rate it
- there was no central light switch in the room so needed to turn on every light individually in a dark room
- I was told I would have a queen bed but only got a double - not a big difference really just annoying when you expect one thing and get another, especially when business travelingMore
