As advertised, the Junior Suite has a spacious living room with kitchenette and a separate bedroom, both with large tv sets and phones. Complimentary wifi worked well.

Great view from the roof, both at night and during the day. (Did not have time to try out the spa).

Location: Slightly seedy neighborhood. But the hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk from the wonderful St.Lawrence market.

Dinner was overpriced.

I am ambiguous about the breakfast; given the price of the accomodation, I would have expected more. French toast was very good, as was the selection of cereals, all packaged in small boxes to stay fresh. I am not sure if the following are typical of Toronto, or only in this hotel: Scrambled eggs, but no fried eggs. Ketchup and salsa, but no mustard. Bacon, but no ham. Jam, honey, cheese spread, but no yellow cheese. (St.Lawrence market has a large selection!)

The views are amazing on the rooftop patio and on top of that the hot tub was great at night watching with the one you love with a glass of wine. The rooms were true luxury at its best and the marble washroom was nice. It was so close to great restaurants and the eaton center. All together A LUXURY RETREAT!!

Stayed here a few times. The roof top hot tubs are why we keep coming back. The view of the city is amazing and it is very relaxing to have a beer and sit in the hot tub. Although they play movies or TV on the big screen by the hot tubs, it is generally too quiet/dim to enjoy. The elevator to the hot tub stops going up at 11pm, but as long as you're up there, they do not kick you out at 11.

The breakfast buffet is basic, but the quality of the scrambled eggs are atrocious! The rooms, decorations and staff are all great for the price of the rooms. Duvet covers in every room!

Visited Grand Hotel Friday December 7th to 9th 2012. Had dinner at Citrus Restaurant as a work holiday party and had a wonderful meal as usual.

All of the staff throughout the entire hotel are always very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze especially since we had our Yorkie with us. One of the few hotels that will accommodate a pet for a small extra fee. Worth it!

*The roof-top hot tubs were great into the late night on Friday. The area was clean and well kept.
*The rooms were clean and spacious as always.
*The doormen and bell hops were courteous and always available.
*Front desk assisted with a small technical issue I was having with the TV. Quickly resolved!
*Complimentary breakfast was hot and fresh both mornings. One of my favourite parts of staying at the Grand.
*Basement pool was clean and well kept. Perfect temperature.

I have visited the Grand Hotel Toronto a dozen times and hope to be back a dozen more.

Room Tip: Request South facing as you get a wonderful view of the city and lakefront.

We booked a 2 bedroom suite and the room was really well laid out. They have a great breakfast, and we tried the restaurant at dinner and it was really good, friendly servers. They have free internet, a nice indoor pool and jacuzzis on the roof with a really nice view. Would definately reccomend the hotel to families. It is not a very big hotel and staff are really friendly.
