“Fantastic Boys Choir”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 October 2013

Attended the noon Mass and was very pleased that the combined Senior/Junior Boys Choir were singing for the service. The two music teachers sitting next to me said it best when they said, "Impressive!" I found they truly added to the spiritual experience. The Cathedral is undergoing a major renovation and it is looking better each time I visit. There is a an army of friendly ushers who help you find a seat if you are coming late. I enjoy attending here when I am in Toronto.

“Architectural gem”

Nice place to stop in for a brief visit. The architecture is beautiful. As with alot of the the older buildings, it has an interesting history.

“Very nice building”

Europe style cathedral with nice architecture. Beautiful parks around plus a quire school. Some beggars are hanging around and spoil the picture.

“Not That Impressive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2013 via mobile

Seems OK, but not that big and not that impressive. Some renovation work was happening while there. Go if you are running out of things to do, otherwise, skip it.

“Very pretty cathedral”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2013

I am a Catholic so I am going to be biased.

I went to visit on a Sunday morning, and there happened to be a Sunday mass scheduled, so I went to the mass, and then lingered a bit longer to take picture. The cathedral is built in Gothic revival style, with very elaborate decorations and tapestry on the ceiling, and multiple stained glass windows. The ones behind the Sanctuary is mind-blowing!

There are 2 small chapels, one on each side. Also, there is another stained glass window behind the choir terrace upstairs facing the Sanctuary.

Please be respectful when visiting, and it is definitely worth visiting. It is also close to Eaton Center, so you can park the car there, walk 2 blocks to visit the cathedral, then shop till you drop at Eaton Center.
