“Excellent and always fresh”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

We stop in here several times when we visit Toronto. It is a super clean store with excellent service to boot. The food is awesome. They have fresh salad bars, delis, cheese, fruits, sushi and a bakery. Lots to choose from and a fun busy place. It is a bit expensive but in my opinion worth the splurge on occassion.

“Quality!”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

The Maple leaf gardens offer the best quality food for a higher price segment. The sushi bar and the lovely bakery department really are my favourite stops when I stop by the MLG.

“Pricey, but worth it”
Reviewed 20 May 2014 via mobile

The maple leaf gardens is quite pricey, but it's most definitely worth it! They offer a very wide range of products. I especially like the fact that I am able to enjoy great fresh sushi and salads. Great place to shop with helpful staff and wonderful products.

“Maple Leaf Gardens”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

The building has been turned into a multipurpose structure which is now used as the most fabulous indoor grocery store on this planet! Hard to believe it was where the Toronto Maple Leafs played ice hockey. Great idea to mark the spot where centre ice was. Check out the wall of cheese and the pastry counter. Staff are very friendly and helpful. On the second above the store is a cooking school, liqueur store and a Joe Fresh clothes store. On a wall above the main entrance is a huge art piece of a maple leaf using the blue seats of the old ice hockey arena, very cool! Also part of the building is used by Ryerson University as a multi-sports complex including an ice hockey arena, basketball, volleyball courts and gym where students can lift weights and get a cardio work out!

An amazing use of a building! Worth a visit. Close to the college subway station and lots of hotels nearby.

P.s. They also have free WiFi and you can buy lunch there as well. Lots of tables to sit at to eat. Very popular with tourists and locals as well!

“Spectacular example of maintaining historical value and revamping into something new!”
Reviewed 17 April 2014

We dropped in to see what this Loblaws store is all about and were quite impressed. From the expansive and huge fresh food selection and meal offerings, to the wall of cheese, in-store ACE Bakery, made-to-order sushi and other countless counters, this place is cool. We came by at lunch so each grabbed different food from the stations and stayed to eat at their "cafeteria" style tables in the middle of it all.
Lots of cool History from back when this was home to the Toronto Maple Leafs. From pictures laminated into the tables, to the original stadium seats re purposed into art, most of the original interior walls/windows kept and even a big Red Dot in one of the aisles to signify center ice!! Cool.
