Stayed here for 3 nights from 31st August it’s ok nothing to special near to the subway in fact you can hear it in your room if you are on the second floor like we where. Good breakfast internet was quite good friendly reception staff hotel rooms could do with a revamp

Dear sharniehy09jzr - Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay with us. We are very centrally located and the subway is very helpful to get around the city. We hope that you will stay again.
Best Regards,

Beautifully updated hotel in the hear of Yorkville. Nicely renovated lobby and rooms are clean and comfortable. Close to Bloor-Yonge station for easy subway access. Can be a but pricey at times but can certainly be a good value.

I just completed a 5 night stay at this full service Marriott and found it up to Marriott’s high standard. ( I’m a lifetime Platinum Elite). Check in was quick, friendly and painless. I had a king room on the executive level (floor 6) which was very quiet except for those few people who like to let their doors bang early in the morning. I was given a late check out on request, and that showed up on my reservation (status helps). The breakfast downstairs in the dining area was very good ( every item was hot and tasty). The breakfast in the executive lounge was also complete and very good, fresh fruit, cheese, hot eggs, quiche, various juices and smoothies, not to mention the excellent (large) coffee and cappuccino machine. Lounge staff friendly and helpful as all staff were including front desk, housekeeping and doormen. I will certainly return again.

Wow. Really happy with the vip customer service here. I was travelling for business but brought my family along. We were given a room upgrade the kids got roll away beds. The room was huge and gave us lots of room to really make ourselves at home.

The valet service was superior. Super friendly, free cold bottled water.

The location can’t get anymore convenient. Downstairs is the subway station to take you direct to cn tower and Rogers centre. and a food court and drug store.

Umbrellas available for rainy days at the front desk.

Housekeeping even folded my kids blankies and left them in their pillow. They loved this!

The only downside was took us a bit to figure out how to position the shower head so it didn’t flood the bathroom floor. The shower had so much water pressure and a nice wide spray. Once we figured out to point it towards the wall a bit it solved the problem.

Reception was solid, fast accommodating and friendly.
The rooms were nice - the carpets made it seem old.
I stay over 100 room nights a year. This is the first hotel in recent memory that GOUGED for WIFI. Even last week in Sierra Leone, the wifi was part of the package. Throughout the UK, Central America and Europe the WIFI is included. They provide free WIFI to "guests" in the Lobby but not PAYING guest in the rooms. Until learning this, I was preparing to make this a regular location. If you call and complain they will "make you a member" and give you access. Still not impressed.
