“Pleasant visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2014

This year we visited the zoo especially to see the pandas. We were not disappointed. The animals were well kept and taken care of. It was wonderful to see them enjoying their food and playing around. We also loved the baby polar. There were lots to see with many indoor exhibits (pavilions) which very well maintained. It's a great place to bring the family to enjoy the outdoors, not to mention getting some exercise with all the walking.

“Must Visit For Tourists To Toronto Area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2014

The zoo is quite expansive and very well organized into the various groupings of animals for viewing. Be prepared to walk lots and lots. There are many outdoor cages with animals, as well there are many buildings with animals too.

“Dont bother if it's winter or very cold”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2014 via mobile

Visited during a cold spring day (8 degrees). Had been cold for days leading up. Most of the animals were either hiding out of the cold, attractions were closed and only a small amount of animals were out or active. Nothing to see during winter, don't bother

There are several 'baby' animals of different sizes...pandas, polar bears, lions, etc. REALLY interesting, informative, and just a thoroughly enjoyable and full day!!

Quite a ways outside the city. It is expensive and if you drive parking is extra. If you take the bus it isn't really convenient and it takes a while on the TTC.
