Owner description: Castle-like building, built in 1899 in the Romanesque Revival style, features a clock tower, "Friends of Old City Hall" exhibit and a War Memorial.

Very cool old buliding on the same square (with fountains) and the impressive New City Hall.

Great hotdogs from the vending stands to the side of the square and funny 'no wading' signs along the edges of the pond/lake thing in the square itself

This is one of my favourite buildings in Toronto. I just stood in awe admiring it when I first came across it. It's refreshing to see such a magnificent historical building in such a busy, modern part of Toronto. Unfortunately unable to enter unless you commit a crime, it's well worth a stop!

As many have stated before me, you obviously can't enter as a tourist as it is a fully functional court house however pictures of the outside are well worth a stop. Amazing building to look at, very historic, you can also see new town hall and the pond that they freeze in the wintertime for skating right across the street.

Old City hall is now a Court House. You really can't roam inside due to security concerns. The outside is a marvel to photograph. Nice view from across at the New City hall
