We stay at the hotel every year for the beaches Jazz Festival, this would have been our 4th year and we have never had any issues with our stay. The staff is friendly & the rooms are clean
This hotel could not be better situated in Toronto's Beach Village with great shopping, food and walking distance to the sandy lakefront.
It is comfortable and clean with continental breakfast included. The manager, Bill, made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks!
My husband and I took a quick trip to visit a friend who lives near the hotel.
Upon arrival, we were "greeted" by the unpleasant Geoff... There was a small confusion on information I'd been given upon making my reservation and what was fact.. it WAS easily and quickly resolved after I requested the manager - who is an incredibly personable and friendly man, that actually listened... Explained what I was misunderstanding and resolved the problem instantly (FANTASTIC customer service skills). Geoff could take a lesson from his manager in lieu of just repeating over and over the same misunderstood statement ... Progressively louder each time (which required the request for the manager in the first place).
Moving on from the unpleasant check in experience....
The room was great, well appointed and had all the ammenities to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The cleaning staff did a great job at straightening the room, and it was very clean when we arrived.
Location is fantastic, out of the main hustle of the big city, but close enough to be there on short notice. I've been to Toronto many times, but enjoyed this location most of all due to it's predominantly friendly and funny staff... And the proximity to the beach, park and great food!
Overall we were very pleased with Days Inn Toronto Beaches, will stay again!
