“Amazing home away from home.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014

Absolutely loved this place. We live in Niagara and stay in Toronto quite often. I am so happy that we found this gem. Location is fab.
Communication with the owner was a breeze, very helpful and responsive.
We've been in the accommodation business for over 12 years and we were highly impressed.
We've found our new home away from home. If you want an authentic, local experience, stay here...it beats a hotel.

Thanks so much Poshdigs. We will see you again soon!

As a Southern California native, I was a bit apprehensive about spending two weeks in the middle of a Toronto winter being nanny to my 7 month old granddaughter who arrived with her mother from abroad for a two week stint at the local medical center. The apartment (Decked Out Digs) is adorable on the website so I expected it to be nice but I was blown away when we entered it for the first time. The kitchen and living area on the first floor was absolutely lovely and seemed larger than the photo. The bedrooms, one floor below, were spacious and a very modern (large) washer and dryer were strategically located near the bedrooms and bathroom. A small powder room was on the landing between the two floors. The kitchen was fully stocked and a large flat screen TV graced the exposed brick wall in the living area. All-in-all, the apartment had everything we needed to make us comfortable and at home. The owner, Arthur, was extremely helpful -- any small problem was attended to immediately. We couldn't enjoy the darling deck off the living room because of the weather, but my granddaughter and I spent time looking out the French Doors to the lovely neighborhood when it was snowing. The location was perfect for walking, weather permitting, and very close to transit. If you want comfort and convenience, this apartment has it all. One caveat: the stairs between the man living area and bedrooms are narrow and a bit steep but bannisters are provided and it was good exercise! One final tip - since our trip was in the "off season", the owner generously worked with us to make the rental more affordable.

My family stay at swanky suite for 9nights. We love it. My kids feels the suite just like their home.

1. Location is perfect. Quiet neighbourhood, 2mnts to bus stop at bathurst st or habbord st that brings you anywhere (TTC bathurst, bloor st, queens park etc), walking distance to college street where shops and coffe shops around, metro groceries at college street is 10mnts walk (theres a small small shop at the corner of bathurst).
2. The suite is complete. Kitchen is fully equipped with kitchen set you need. Big fridge, 2 clean bathroom, easy to use washer and dryer, cozy bed, flat tv with channels
3. There's city map and travel guide toronto book for you, which help us a lot. You can also use wifi.

Other thing we like, you dont have to bring the key, you just have to remember the password number to enter your suite. Its practical and save.

Thanks Arthur. We surely recommend the suite.. Success to you.

Owner Arthur has several apartments in the posh digs collection and this one, a 2-bedroom suite was immaculately turned out. Everything was brand new, excellent mattresses, spanking new kitchen appliances, giant fridge, washer dryer etc. the shower was good too, with decent water pressure and nice toiletries. In short, it felt
like a hotel suite but cost a fraction of that per person. It's not a huge place granted but would accommodate 4 people comfortably (and a pull out couch on top of that). We had everything we needed including excellent wifi and great independent coffee shops on the doorstep, complete with serious-minded baristas who don't do caramel lattes (be warned, Starbucks is a dirty word round here!). This particular apartment is called 316 Upper on the website and is located on the corner of Harbord and Grace, a short walk from the lively restaurants of Bloor St and in the other direction, College St. It's not quite as quiet and leafy a neighbourhood as the Markham St apartments (a short walk away) but it's still nice and friendly if a little bit noisier. Finding a good local eatery was easy, especially if you like Asian food and we also walked to downtown one day, about 15-20 minutes on foot with several interesting stops along the way. Arthur was a very nice and generous host and replied quickly to any of our questions. Be warned if you have a car, to ensure you have a parking permit which Arthur can organise in a jiffy, because the attendants come round at night, as well as during the day! I Would definitely stay here again, apartments are a great way to feel part of the neighbourhood.

We travelled from the UK & completed a six-night stay in the Cool City Pad. Our family comprised of 2 adults and 4 kids (aged 14-7). The accommodation was superb. The apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The owner had communicated with us well before the trip and helped us when we realised we had left an item behind!! Posh Digs is located very close to the Bathurst 511 street car which meant an easy trip into Downtown. If we get chance to visit Toronto again, we will definitely consider staying here again.

We rented initially for 8 nights, ended up staying two weeks because we got stuck in Toronto due to hurricane Sandy. The accomodation is very pleasant and quite well equipped, and when I informed the owner we needed to stay longer, not only was he completely flexible but he also spontaneously cut the rent: the opposite of exploitative. All in all, a very positive experience and one we'll certainly repeat next time Toronto calls

Our family of four stayed in the Swanky Suite at Posh Digs during December 2011/January 2012, it was like a home away from home. Everything you need is here washing machine, dryer, telephone, WiFi, two showers, full size bath, kitchen - the list goes on. The location was just perfect very central, close to everything, surrounded by beautiful houses. Dining out is easy too, try the Victory Cafe in Markham Street for the best Mac Cheese you will ever eat, they have really great beer too!! We are a family of Aussies that managed to find our way around, see plenty and not go hungry, very safe and comfortable place to stay. Posh Digs is a funny name but it really describes the product to perfection!!!!
