“The best hotel stay we ever had”
Reviewed 4 January 2014

This was the best hotel experience we have ever had. We stayed on their club level and were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The hotel is ideally situated close to everything and is on the Toronto PATH system so this allows you go virtually everywhere without going outside. The room was very large with every amenity imagined. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have experienced during our travels. The rooms are so soundproof, it is wisper quiet. The lounge that is part of the club level is simply amazing. It has continuous food and drink from early morning to late night. And it is all excellent. If you can believe it, the staff are even more amazing. They make a point of knowing and remembering your name. The staff are very friendly and take the time to chat and try to help you in every way. The service levels even for maintenance are absurdly high. During breakfast I mentioned a button the TV remote was not working to a staff member. By the time we returned to our room, it was fixed! If you can possibly stay here, you absolutely need to try it.

My wife and I came up to Toronto for a quick two day break with our children over the Christmas holiday. We reserved one of the corner suites, which worked out perfectly for the four of us. The room has a pull out queen sized sofa bed in the sitting area (that must be comfortable, because our picky kids have not complained about it), and a half bathroom. There is a hallway from the sitting area leading to the master bedroom with the full master bathroom off the hallway. A sliding door enables you to close off the sitting area from the full bath and bedroom, which is perfect for some privacy from the children. The room itself was incredible from the furniture, bed linens, and lake view. Also, The full bath is very impressive right down to the hidden television behind the mirror. This is the third time we have stayed at the Toronto Ritz, and the service and room quality has been constantly topnotch all every time. Having stayed at over a two dozen plus Ritz Carlton Properties, this one is in my top three. I do suggest upgrading to the Club level if you can get it for a $125 or less a night. The view is worth it, plus the breakfast, drinks and snacks at the restaurant add up quickly and you will and up spending more then that downstairs.

Well as usual the Ritz Carlton has something different to offer, they have a TV screen hidden behind the bathroom mirror you can't imagine it until you see the mirror turning to a TV loooool
It is so fun to set in the bathtub and watch the hockey game. The food is 5 stars as you expect from such a name. The location is amazing close to harbour front (the lake), CN tower, AirCanada Center and Rogers Center. Tons of restaurants around you and less than 10 min walk to union station and young street.

Room Tip: If you can afford it is an amazing hotel.

This was our second time staying at the Ritz in Toronto. Outstanding! From the moment we arrived the service from valet to front desk was superb. We stayed in room 1007 with an incredible view of the CN Tower and the lakefront. Peaceful and relaxing, just what we were wanting after the busy Christmas season. The team of people working here are top notch!
Thank you, we will be back

Stayed here for 3 nights in July. I thought the hotel was pretty good - a really solid 5 star.

We just had their most basic room, but it was spacious and comfortable. The design isn't going to blow anyone away, but it's fine. Huge bathroom with separate tub and shower cubicle was great.

Ate breakfast in the hotel- enjoyed that very much. Buffet selection was pretty good, service also good - I guess the only thing is that it's quite dimly lit in the restaurant.

Had drinks in the ground floor bar towards the back of the hotel. Seemed to be a mix of guests and locals - it was ok...

Location of the hotel is fine - we managed to get around to most of the fun places easily enough.

They have a good concierge service - they organized several restaurant recommendations and bookings for us, and all of them were spot on.
