“Fantastic Find”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

I dine out frequently and my recent dinner at Ici Bistro was one of the most memorable I've enjoyed this year. From the intimate setting of 20 diners, the view of the chef and his staff plying their trade in the open kitchen to the wide choice of cuisine, Ici Bistro is truly exceptional. I highly recommend the Foie Gras, the Duck, the Scallops/Seafood dish and the Lamb.

Ici Bistro is worth every penny. I can't wait to return (if I can manage to get a reservation)!

“A great find”
Reviewed 10 August 2013

A store manager uptown recommended it to us otherwise we would not know about it.great food ,we shared 6 dishes plus 2 deserts.service friendly and server very knowledgeable. We took our own wine as their wine lists not very extensive.bill including generous tip and corkage under $250.00 cdn. Good value.we will definitely go back again .decor basic but food does the talking.

“Intimate & Authentic”
Reviewed 22 July 2013

Special Occasion or No Occasion this french resty is amaz-ing. I think it seats less then 20 people so you get a very intimate feel and no table can be larger then 4 so the place is pretty romantic and cozy. Food is too good for words. We were able to create our own small portion sampler of all the dishes we were interested in. Loved the croquettes, Chocolate souffle was to die for and looked picture perfect. We had the scallops and lobster and the beef and bone marrow. Im so happy I live in the neighbourhood. Just wish it was easier to get reservations. (it took a couple of attempts to get a call back and at one point . The host had a bit of an attitude which concerned me upon arrival, but luckily the server was pleasant and provided a tremendous amount of insight into our meal. Harbord Street has incredible finds, but ICI takes the cake.

“Outstanding!”
Reviewed 29 June 2013

This was an amazing treat, as not only was the food outstanding, but the service was wonderful. I had heard great things about this place from friends, and decided to try it out for a special occasion dinner. Our appetizer was a cheese platter, which was lovely, but it was the mains that stole the show. We had the lobster bisque, duck and fois gras. The fois gras in my opinion stole the show. Each main has a wine paring suggested by the chef which is a nice touch, as their wine list is quite extensive. But again as mentioned, the service was great. Our server was very informative and you can see she took a lot of pride in her job as she was very knowledgeable about the menu. Our favourite moment was when she overheard us celebrating a special occasion, decided to whip together and surprise our table with a dessert plate with the word "Congratulations!" on it in chocolate sauce. This made our night.

“Fantastic!!”
Reviewed 16 June 2013 via mobile

One of the best restaurants we've been to in Toronto. Food is incredible and the service is equally so. Very small dining room so it has a unique and special feel to the place. It is pricey but you get what you pay for!
