My wife and I heard good things about this restaurant from a colleague of mine and finally decided to give it a try for a weekday dinner.
I ordered the Matsu Sushi $13.95 - 10 pieces of sushi and 6 pieces California roll.
My wife had the Tofu Teriyaki and Vegetable Tempura $12.95
The food filled our stomachs, but we weren't impressed. I honestly felt that we should have gone to an all you can eat place, where for $6 more, we would have been able to order a lot more food at the same quality.
This restaurant basically survives on being located where people go for lunch while at work, the people that go to the theatre and locals that want average sushi.
If you really have a craving for sushi and you need it to be convenient, than by all means, eat here, but if you want more bang for your buck, go a little further north to My Sushi at 5440 Yonge Street.
The next time I eat My Sushi, I'll add a review for sure. It's been my mainstay for sushi, along with other kitchen items, and really I should stop running around trying other places that turn out to be average.
