First time here, won't be my last! Explored the entire place. Clean, quiet, well maintained. Very secure. The only thing I see different from the website is the parking is street, not underground. but very economical for parking rates.

Staff is super friendly and helpful as well.

Love everything about this place. Why did i not give 5 stars? Because I never do :)

Room Tip: I got a single, private room with shared bath since I'm traveling alone. there are four floors o...

This is officially the tiniest private room with bunk beds I have ever seen / stayed in, in my life and the rate did not reflect this! Receptionist was very nice and helpful.
The room itself has limited space for two bags, no central light. A minuscule window for natural lights and very few sockets. Bathroom is clean and shower is hot and powerful. Kitchen facilities are good.
Value for money is questionable but good location beside subway station.

It’s a not bad hostel, fair prices according to what it's offered and where it is.

I found it clean (bedroom, kitchen and restrooms).

Location is ok, safe, in a residential street and neighborhood (far from being a “party location” of the city), but really close to a subway station (Sherbourne), and in a walking distance to Bloor-Yonge (15 mins), where there are many shops and restaurants.

Rooms are small and spread. Some rooms in the main floor, some in others. I stayed in a single room, and although it was comfortable with a nice bed, TV, lamp, it was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in, with no window (just a really small one in the corner of the room – like a basement window to the street in old houses).

Kitchen downstairs, really nice and complete.

Restrooms and bathrooms for single use (not shared). Restrooms also spread, some in the main floor, some downstairs. Bathrooms were downstairs, not really close to some rooms.

There was a TV room, computers to the guests (Wi-Fi was free and with good signal).

Receptionists were nice and polite.

I don’t think this is the kind of hostel you easily meet travelers due to its structure if you are not a smoker and stay outside frequently, but it’s still a nice place to stay.

I would recommend the hostel for couple of nights without any problem.

The bad reviews for this place not sure on. Our experience was brilliant. The room was great, we were downstairs. The only gripe i had was we could hear people up and down the stairs and walking around and if in the kitchen they were loud but this was just them and it comes with being downstairs anywhere so that's life. Our room was great and it was clean. We did not have any problems and would definately stay here again for sure.

We have stayed 3 nights at this hostel and slept very well in the standard private room. There are a lot of cute restaurants and historic buildings in the area and the hostel is only a few minutes away from the lively Yonge street. The only incident during our stay was a girl in the hallway who talked on Skype at 2am for half an hour. Other than for this inconsiderate traveler, it was very quiet at night. It's a great hostel if you are traveling on a budget!

Can't fault this place at all

The rooms were like hotel rooms, the whole place was so neat/tidy clean

We booked a twin room but they put us in a double by mistake so upgraded us for free the rest of our stay into a room with two doubles to compensate, we got way more than we could have imagined!

The guy on reception (Adam?) is sooo lovely, he was so friendly and helpful and always said hi to us and asked us how we were

This is such a lovely place, it didn't feel like a hostel at all, we would definitely stay here again!!

Well located property with clean bathrooms and good facilities, parking available close by bit not at the $10 the Hotels.com web page indicated. Friendly staff too. However, walls and doors are paper thin and any noise travels through out the building. That said, the room and beds were comfortable and I would consider staying there again.
