Many of my complaints have been already voiced about this hotel, may I stress again however the annoyance of emergency vehicle sirens all night long going to the hospital across the street.

Im not sure if its the diner the hotel has in it, or the hotel itself, but this place attracts some very questionable clientele. I was asked if i wanted to buy a certain weed on my way to my room once in the elevator, and my son saw someone laying in the lobby bathroom one morning after breakfast.

the service wasn't anything to write home about either. the front desk seemed understaffed because at every encounter you would wait at least 5 or 10 minutes in line before you were served. they seemed very stressed and over worked. You can't maintain that boutique feel, and high level of service if the staff are stressed.

If you like a good nights sleep, and want to receive real service, stay elsewhere, especially away from that hospital.

a friend of mine suggested, when you go to toronto stay at the "serenity floor" in the pantages. back then i didnt quite understood what he was talking about, but after ariiving and registering "serenity" to me i found out that i am totally in love with a fresh smell of ocean and in zen point of view.
