“Met The Mayor”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

We attended Rob Ford's Barbecue for the 1st time at Thomson Park.
There were thousands of people there enjoying the barbecue, music and of course, meet the Mayor!
Very exciting in a lovely setting. Thomson Park streches a very long way and has many very lovely spots to picnic, walk or just relax. Check it out and just see what a breauty jewel sits in Scarborough just off Lawrence and Brimley.

“Oh Thomson Park,”

Thomson park is huge, and it's fairly clear of crowds most of the time which makes it an ideal place to relax alone or with family.

Great for outdoor strolls (well maintained) with lots of places to "get away". Lots of variety in the bike trails as well.

2 Leash free dog parks ..tremendous!!!! meet lots of dog owners & exchange ideas on raising FIDO!!! ha! ha! A few lovely walking trails ..can catch a baseball or soccer game as well as,bring your picnic lunch. eautiful for walkin in this Autumn weather!! A great local facility ...so natural.
Also a historical home on site for touring with volunteer commentators .. Also used by various Scarborough schools for the students to learn the history of early families settling in Scarborough.
