A great, easy going place to relax on a summer or fall day. Outdoor skating rink January and February, family swimming from 2-4 on the weekends in the Trinity Rec Centre. Great sledding if there's snow. Keep your tin of beer in a paper bag and don't be too loud and it's likely that a few drinks in the park will be ignored. Bring a frisbee and a leash for your dog, unless you're in the off-leash area.

This is a big neighbourhood park, but while the neighbourhhood combines trendiness with immigrant working class vibes, it really is just a big neighbourhood park. It is a great place to walk a dog, and there is some variety to the topography, but the main attraction in recent years has been a famous albino squirrel. Haven't heard about it recently, so there's a good chance it has gone to weird animal heaven. And, without it, this is just a big neighbourhood park.

My partner and I take a trek out here every once in a while to play some tennis. It gets busy on weekends, but there are 6 courts that are free to use for 30 minutes. It's a fun neighbourhood to grab an ice cream or a coffee after a walk.

While walking through the park, keep your eyes in the trees. If you are lucky enough, you will see an albino squirell. Every time I go, I look around for them And I always find at least one.

Art in the Park is held every summer and local artists get to display and sell their art at affordable prices. Great for a day to walk around in the sunshine. Lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from in the area. The rest of the summer you will always find people, on sunny days, laying around, reading, watching and playing.
