We attended the National Ballet of Canada's production of The Nutcracker, in December 2012. It had been a few years since I had seen a Ballet, having been a frequent visitor at the old Hummingbird Centre. This venue is modern and spacious - one can actually SEE regardless of the seat purchased. The sound is magnificent. There are five tiers, and even in tier 5 (top) the view is unobstructed. The glass walls, view of downtown, dance performances on the landings up to the fifth tier, golden dance floor flooring, and modern washrooms and "actual person operated" elevators (should one want to actually take an elevator!) all make this venue a must see. The Ballet - a bonus! The National Ballet of Canada company is second to none. There is also a food area as one enters, and the seats are extremely comfortable. Parking is also available. Enjoy!

It's a very modern house with a minimalist finish. The Canadian Ballet and Opera companies put on great shows worthy of where they are staged.

We attended opera productions, and found both the sight lines and the acoustics good. The food at intermissions was good, and the house itself was modern and efficient.

Our Christmas gift from Toronto family members was tickets to the national ballet's performance of The Nutcracker at the Four Seasons Centre. The centre is in downtown Toronto so it was an easy walk from our hotel, even in the snow.

The centre's light, open feel is quite inviting - floor to ceiling glass walls and glass staircase. Auditorium seating is comfortable, however, like many other performance centres and concert halls, if you are on the taller side you may feel a bit cramped.

Enjoyed the ballet - it was the first time I had seen a live performance of The Nutcracker so that was a bit of a treat.

We went here to see a fantastic ballet production of Hamlet. The centre is a stunning building, the space is vibrant, the scenery was truly amazing and the dance company brilliant. We got cheap tickets by queuing early in the morning.
