Overall a good experience. The suite suited our purpose perfectly. No complaints. Only thing was a bit noisy at night but other than that great location and awesome historical building.

Had a great week-end stay at the Gladstone. The location is perfect and the staff is very friendly. Great digs too! And the latte at the café is excellent.
This is my kind of place.
I'll definitely be back and recommend it to artsy travellers.
My only tip: the building across the street is under construction, so its a bit noisy in the morning. Not for light sleepers.
However everything else makes up for that.

This work of history has something different to see in each room, floor and hallways. Would definitely stay again to enjoy another designers room.

The Gladstone is a lovely place to spend a night or two. Fantastic location: restos, bars, shops, public transit. Fun rooms. Good place for those seeking character. Rooms may be smaller than what you're used to in a big chain, but you're not really in Toronto to hang out in your room all day, are you? Fantastic service & great price. Room could use a few touch ups and minor fixes (bathroom door wouldn't stay open), but overall, great. Will return.

This hotel is FUN.. I thas one of the most inviting bars to end a day of exploring the city! My partner and I just spent 2 nights at the gladstone and loved every minute. Staff are friendly and accomodating. Rooms are tiny and European in flavor , if you are a large person the showers will be tough but for me the other positives greatly outweigh a tiny room..really how much time do you spend in it? The beds were extremely comfortable and staff so helpful. Food was excellent but menu very limited for dinner. Front desk helped us find restaurant for one of the most romantic dinners of my life. GREAT accesible street car stop RIGHT out front for exploring the funky shops of Queen ST. LOVE IT

Location is in the new super hip Parkdale area. Lots of art galleries and funky shops and eating. Streetcar stops at front door. You can park in front of the hotel using metered parking.. Bathrooms are smallish in some rooms. There is a 24hr diner across the street as well as 24hr convenience store.

If you appreciate design and like to wander off the beaten path, check this place out. The amenities are fairly simple but the hotel is clean, the staff is courteous and the place is altogether more interesting than most. The Gladstone uses local (!) products and the cafe breakfast was fantastic.
