“Fascinating and a good way of getting around downtown Toronto”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

I admit it - I find underground tunnels and walkways interesting, so for me The Path was an excellent place to visit. It's great to see how Toronto has provided interconnecting walkways and buildings to enable its inhabitants (and tourists) to get around during the depths of winter or the height of summer. Once you've downloaded a map and have worked out that there are directional, colour-coded arrows on the ceilings (blue = north, red = south, yellow = east, orange = west) then it's surprisingly quick and easy to get around. Well worth a visit to experience how a city can make efficient use of space and keep it clean and secure too...

“Not a "must-see", but nice for rainy days”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014

The Path is not so much a tourist attraction as it is a convenient underground network of tunnels, shops, and stores. Crappy weather outside or don't feel like crossing busy intersections? Down the Path you go. Looking for an exquisite shopping or sightseeing experience? Go outside and get some sun!

Perfect way to get around Toronto with plenty of access points and shops, can easily get lost if you are not familiar but everyone is happy to help.

“Amazing Underground Maze! Well Done!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 January 2014

After a business meeting and a great lunch at a PATH take out I wandered this area for the afternoon! Lots of independent stores, from food, spices, unique items, clothing etc! Plus the chain stores, there is something for everyone! You make sure you have the map, then off you go! No heavy coats needed, it takes you all the way from Front St. Through Financial District, to Eaton's Centre! I recommend it as a must, and great in the cold weather!

“Sight seeing and shopping”

We were amazed that the mall closed early on Friday and was closed all weekend. I expected more from a metropolitan city. Why would they close a tourist attraction on the weekend?
