“Water damage left us adrift....”
Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

We went out of our way to visit this cute little restaurant for lunch on a Tuesday at lunch. Parking isn't the easiet... The surrounding area is under construction and several pay lots were full.

When we arrived, work was being done on the ceiling surrounding the pizza oven - appeared to be water damage.

The servers were very friendly and welcoming but I was struck at how every single red tablecloth was FILTHY under the crisp white paper topper despite the restaurant just opening for the day. It was gross. Really.

The pizzas we had our mouths watering for weren't available due to the emergency ceiling repair so we opted to share a sandwich (delicious!!) and the Alfredo pasta (fantastic!!). The prices here are very reasonable. The food is fresh and delicious and I love the fresh herbs and seasoning.

Just before leaving I used the restrooms located in the basement... Shocker! The floors were wet. The smell is what you associate with water damage.

The food here is terrific, the service is friendly and cheerful... my reluctance to fully recommend is the dirty tablecloths and extensive water damage. It makes me question the integrity behind the scenes....

“Best Pizza in Toronto and even in Canada”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

Best Pizza in Toronto. Try 4 cheese pizza and you will come back again, and again.
Restaurant is fairly new, still not all perfect but i come at lesat 2 times per week for a lunch special or a nice pizza at the bar. Prices are fair, after all good food does not come for free.
Keep up up!

“Won't be back”
Reviewed 14 August 2014 via mobile

We just ate here based on the great reviews. The service was very good and everyone was friendly but the owner got into a pushing and verbal fight with someone at the bar. It scared me and my family to the point where we could not enjoy our meal. It went on for about 10 minutes.

The pizza was ok. I have definitely had better. Maybe we just hit it on an off night but in my opinion it does not deserve to be #1 in Toronto.

“Great food, great atmosphere but check your bill carefully!”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

While visiting from British Columbia, we ate at this restaurant based on Tripadvisor reviews.

We went with the pizza since it was brick oven pizza, made to order and the previous reviews suggested that the pizza was the meal to have at the restaurant. It was very good - nice flavour with fresh ingredients. It came quickly and was quite large - would almost have served two but not quite. We ordered two pizzas which gave us some to take back to our hotel.

The service was good. The restaurant was not busy when we were there so there weren't really any waits for food service. But…….check the bill once it prints out - mistakes can happen and you could end up paying a lot for a pizza. While we enjoyed the pizza, we probably wouldn't eat here again - something about the error on the bill put us off.
