Off the beaten path, a well maintained extended stay full service Residence Inn. Helpful staff, all the service you could want and complimentary food throughout the week. Would stay again, spacious accommodations... I've had apartments that were smaller.

This is a great hotel to stay at while in Toronto, especially if you're traveling with children. The rooms are clean and spacious. Ours was a driving vacation, so having the fully equipped kitchen was a godsend. Any food items we had packed in our cooler or bought while in Toronto could be stored in the full-size fridge. The hotel itself is within walking distance to the CN Tower and the stadium where the Toronto Blue Jays play.
We booked the Studio Suite and the layout was nice. We had an OK view. Ours overlooked some kind of electrical station, no view of the CN Tower. If we ever go back I'll make sure to request a room with a view of it. The king bed was on the softer side so if you have back problems, may not be the most comfortable. Our kids slept on the sofa bed and they said it was fine.
Breakfast is provided for all guests and it's fairly decent. My kids and husband seemed to like it. There were things like scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit and yogurt. Enough to get your day started off right. My only "complaint" is that the food wasn't kept stocked very well. So make sure you get there when it first opens, or you may be out of luck. I also noticed that they were trying to implement a system of checking everyone in, I guess to make sure that no one off the street was trying to eat. It was a little chaotic as guests didn't seem to know where to initially line up (as there is more than one way to get into the eating area).
My kids used the pool and said it was nice. There are changing rooms and bathrooms located in the pool area, which is great.
The exercise room left something to be desired. I'm an avid runner, and there was only one treadmill. Thank goodness no one was ever on it, nor anyone waiting to get on it. The other equipment in there (elliptical and 2 bikes) seemed kind of rickety.
You have to valet your car, which is very typical of any large city hotel. I take my hat off the the valet attendant - he was so patient with us! We used our car on several different occasions. He was fast, friendly, and never once seemed annoyed. He was great!

Overall a good experience. Would stay here again.

We got gift of show tickets to Sound of Music at TIFF Bell Lightbox in downtown Toronto and this turned out to be an excellent evening with the family. The Marriott Residence Inn Downtown Toronto was the significant component that made the whole trip outing, a great success!

It started with our early check in into the Toronto Downtown Residence Inn. What a surprise, we got the 2-bedroom suite upgrade room. It was very nice and comfortable accommodation. We had a couple of hours to rest before we headed out for dinner. Then just a couple blocks walk to the TIFF Bell Lightbox for the screening of the show. The Sing-a-long show was totally fun with audience participation.

We walked back to the Hotel and got ice cream bars from the hotel lobby. Back in the suite, we had a great family time in the spacious comfort of the 2-bedroom suite. Very relaxing and wonderful evening was had by all.

Thank you Toronto Residence Inn Downtown Staff for hosting us. Your guest service is commendable!

I have spent many dozens of nights at the Residence Inn over the past two years and find the rooms and staff to be top notch. I usually spend 3 to 4 nights in a week and the staff treats me (and all frequent guests) more like family than clients. Beautiful rooms complete with large high def TVs and a nice small kitchen make it a perfect spot for longer trips. Great for both families on a budget of business folks who need to work for a week. One of my favorite hotels anywhere and I have been top tier with both Marriott and Hilton for many years.

Our family enjoyed our stay, the room was lovely and clean with view of the top of the CN tower. We liked being able to take advantage of the ROM package deal. We were able to check-in early and staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend without hesitation and stay there again in the future.

It was such a delight to read your very positive comments on Tripadvisor and I would like to thank you so much for taking the time to do so!

Certainly our property lends itself to both the leisure and travel and often the two are combined, plus our location makes for a very accessible stay in the city having everything located within walking distance.

A huge smile was on the faces of our team as they really do care for our guests and your comments just bonafide there passion!

Remember there is always a warm welcome waiting should you have occasion to be in the city in the coming months. Thank you for your loyalty shown to the Marriott family of hotels and resorts.

After staying in Marriott properties in toronto i tired this one. asked for a pillow got in after 45mins with no pillow case. called for a pillow case and never received it. ended up wrapping the pillow in a sheet. after going to the front desk and telling the agent that gave me the pillow had nothing to say including the manager on duty. the hotel has no checks done by rooms manger as the rooms picture over table was broken as well as spider webs hanging from the ceiling. worst stay during a snow storm i had. no assist offered by front desk team or bell or door staff no where to be found had to walk 2 blocks in the snow as door man wasn't seen to grab me a cab. also told me about free breakfast 7-12 but i said i will be leaving at 6:30 can i have food then. no help was given.

Room Tip: check room before taking it and don't ask night team for help.

Had an opportunity to stay in the hotel during dec 2013 and I must say that this was nothing less than staying in a home away from home.

Wonderful welcome, courteous staff and pleasant ambience made my stay perfect...

Delicious breakfast and warm and surprise social events are like icing on the cake...

Can't think of staying somewhere else while at Toronto...

Thankyou!!!!
