I have stayed here a couple times and always enjoy it. My first stay I even had a room to myself! Great staff, amazing value. Always a good mix of people and great conversations. Clean, and near a lot.

Great location, super helpful staff, always clean, nice breakfast, big kitchen, fast internet. Couldn't ask for a better place. Nice rooftop where you get a great view of the CN Tower. Rooms area was quiet.

Stayed in a 6 bed dorm for 5 nights. Expect 2 noisy girls in my room everything was perfect!
First it is very well located. It is 45min walk from the waterfront or 25min from the ROM. You can do pretty much everything by foot from there. Kensington market and little Italy are just nearby.
The rooms are upstairs and are clean, little bathroom per room and lockers! Very useful :-)
The common room and kitchen are very clean (I mean very!) and the breakfast is really good! Never seen that and I travel quite a lot!
Phones to use for local calls. Computers, tv, washing machines etc pretty much everything.
+ the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful.
The best is the view from the rooftop. Did enjoy it during the 3rd year anniversary of the hostel when we were all invited to celebrate it :)
Highly recommanded.

This is a very nice and centrally located hostel. Our check in went smoothly and we were fortunate enough to secure the hostel parking rate at $8 per day. The hostel is located near Little Italy and Chinatown. University of Toronto is located a few blocks away and the area is home to many bars within walking distance. We were given linens including bed sheets and clean towels. The hostel has free wifi and many public lounge areas. I was impressed by the kitchen which is kept very clean by the staff. Contrary to the other reviews, the hostel wifi is faster than I anticipated. Free breakfast consisted of about 10 different cereal choices and about 10 different bread and bagel choices with three different jams and peanut butters. Bananas were also available. We were in a three person private which consisted of a bunk bed with a twin on top and a full on the bottom. The room is small, but it is a hostel. Our room was in a small cluster of four rooms, which consisted of 3-three person rooms and a single. So about ten people sharing one bathroom. There is also another floor bathroom available. The bathrooms are very modern and clean. I expected lockers in the room, but there weren't any. The rooftop bar is marvelous and has a very nice view of the Toronto skyline. They don't serve alcohol except on special occasions, but they allow you to store your own alcohol at the bar. The lobby area has a eating area like a dining room and a tv area like a living room. Very nice fireplace to keep warm. They also have laundry service at about $2 per load. The staff is very laid back and down to earth. They mingle with the travelers and offer much advice on the area. Very good team running the place. The only negative about our experience is that we paid for parking at check-in, but the system still showed that we had a $27 balance. I had to show them my bank statement on my phone to prove that I paid for parking at check-in. This wasn't a big deal, but slightly bothered me considering I had a parking pass that said "parking paid". Nonetheless, very good place to stay in Toronto. I would surely return!

This hostel is pretty much like a hotel. Except you're sharing a room with other people. It's max 4 to a room and each room has an excellent shower and lockers. Rooms are well away from the common areas so sleeping is easy.

The common areas are large but encourage socialisation, WIFI is good and there are a few computers as well. The provided breakfast is amazing, imagine a supermarket breakfast aisle, and the kitchen is great for cooking if you want to do that.

The staff are very helpful and patient with all questions. I knocked a star off for location, not because it's not in a cool spot (plenty of bars and restaurants around) but because it's a bit of a trek from the subway. There are trams that stop very close though.

This place was unbelievably good quality for the money. The building is brand new, so the whole place is modern and intelligently designed. Both the room and bathroom were very clean and the selection for breakfast was varied. I would definitely come here again, especially with friends.

Room Tip: Avoid a room next to College Street, trams go by and it can be noisy if you're sensitive to that...

The place is awesome , and had a great and cheap party in the new year's eve, also it has popcorn 24x7, and for me that was a great experience. And is very clean. It is really easy to get to the street car and the subway station. also is close to downtown and has a beautiful view from CN tower.
