I went to Cluny for the first time with my boyfriend and another couple. We had an AMAZING time there. It was outstanding to be honest. Once you walk in, the stunning decor takes over as if I were in Paris. The detail, textures, and ambience are world class, comfortable, but just beautiful. I eat out a lot and I can tell you that you would be hard pressed to find a restaurant like this in Toronto.

We were all very impressed and pleased with our server and the staff as a whole. From the hostess, to the server, to the manager, we were welcomed, seated and served like stars. Our server was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the restaurant, the food, and any other curious questions we had.

Finally, the food was MOUTH WATERING! For appetizers we had the Cod Doughnuts which were amazing which came with some sort of a potato dip. We also ordered their French Onion Soup. WARNING, this thing is DELICIOUS!! The cheeses in the soup are to die for. Very impressed. Duck poutine and asparagus with breading and sesame seeds were delicious as well.

Our entrees arrived. I ordered the 10oz hangar steak with fries and it was cooked to PERFECTION. In fact, everyone else who ordered a steak at our table had their steak perfectly done to medium-rare, as we wanted it. DELICIOUS, and quite frankly the hangar steak is a steal at $19 for 10oz and fries. Loved it.

Dessert was fantastic as well, and very beautiful looking.

All in all, I could not emphasis any more how many of an experience Cluny was in the Distillery. I absolutely loved it, and so did everyone else at the table. World class service, world class food, world class restaurant.

Looking forward to going again soon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Every dish was amazing in terms of flavour and presentation. The frog's legs were fun and had just that bit of spice to differentiate them from any others I've ever tasted. Gnocchi was soft and buttery with garlic, so good! The scallops were probably one of the best items I've tried in a while anywhere. Tomahawk Veal Meatball was huge and a fun presentation and the tomato sauce was yummy. Try the housemade macarons, as they melt in your mouth so will all your worries. The servers are really well versed on the menu and are simply delightful. The room itself is stunning. I don't think there is a single other restaurant in Toronto that is as beautiful as this. Definitely must make the list of best new restaurant.

This place has the look of an authentic upscale French restaurant, and the food and service matched big time - unlike some other so-called upscale establishments. The steak was to die for, and the asparagus frites precipitated a craving for seconds and thirds. To top it off, the prices weren't outrageous. A worthy addition to the Distillery District, which in itself has become Toronto's premier tourist destination.

We had a wonderful evening at Cluny with terrific service from Kevin and Shelby. Very attractive interior feeling just like France. A little noisy but excellent!! Tasty treats of delicious fresh-made breads, frogs' legs, sesame crusted asparagus, scallops and the Pièce de résistance - the Spicy Salmon Tartare. Fab-u-lous!!!!!

We had a great evening of food and wine in a lively atmosphere. The food was great and plentiful. At $19, the hanger steak frites was excellent value and perfectly prepared. Service was attentive and very knowledgeable. Well worth a visit.
