The smoked salmon appetizer was truly unique. Smoked in a glass cloche. It was amazing. The marinated maple leaves were a little strange though. The rest of the meal and desert were great.

Delicious, consistent quality, terrific views of the city. Not for the traveler on a budget, worth the treat.

Food is ok + , the restaurant is located on the 54th floor , view is outstanding ! It also has a very nice bar , service is superb , waiters are polite and knowledgable .
The only negative remark I have is that the restaurant rest rooms are located outside and at list at the time of my visit we're not clean as expected from a place at this caliber .

The view is great but you can only really appreciate it with a window facing/adjacent table. Food is great and the service is great. There's not too much to say, you pay for the quality of food and the service (and it's worth it) so it's just another fine dining restaurant with a view.

Before traveling to Toronto, I researched restaurants and Canoe was at the top of my list to visit. It did not disappoint. The skies were overcast the evening I dined there, so I was not able to enjoy the view. Surprisingly, we were able to get in without a reservation, but I recommend you plan ahead. Most everything we ordered was wonderful in taste and presentation. The only complaint lodged was from the person who ordered the elk steak, pronouncing it a little too well done. The mushroom soup and vegetable risotto that I ordered was delicious as was the taste of a companion's fluke. The fluke was melt-in-your-mouth buttery. Even the desserts surpassed expectations.
