went there as a party of four along with our 8 month old grand daughter. The staff helped lift the stroller up the stairs and found a table that accommodated the stroller very well. The service was initially excellent and rapid. The melted cheese sandwiches and the Fogo Island Cod were excellent. When we finished our waiter had disappeared and it took a very long time to get the bill. We had to extract our grand daughter as she was getting fussy. The staff did offer to help with the stroller once agin.
We were there on a beautiful sunny day so the ambiance was perfect.

Went up to Sassafraz. Informed them upon booking we were there for a special dinner. Our 25th wedding anniversary (kind of a big deal right?). Waiter said happy anniversary. Then disappeared. We eventually ordered cocktails, actually they were quite good (White Knight, and a Bellini). Had a Caesar's salad which was excellent. Main's (Lamb, Pasta) were fine. Service was spotty at best. For such a special dinner I was hoping we'd be "wow'd" . Nope. Based on some of the other high end restaurants we've been to in Toronto, this falls well short.

The food is always delicious and the service was exemplary. This was my third business dinner and I’m definitely looking forward to the fourth!

I ordered the most expensive thing on the brunch menu. When it finally arrived, the crab frittata was very over cooked, tiny and had no discernible crab. Tasted like styrofoam. Thought they had pride in their food. Not!
