My husband and I had dinner at Shoeless Joe's one evening while visiting Toronto for a few days. I got a salad and cocktail, husband had pasta and a beer. They were very busy so it was quite a while before our order arrived. Food was decent--not great--but our waiter WAS great. We asked him what would be the best route to get back to our hotel miles away using subway/bus combo, and rather than just telling us and expecting us to remember everything, he grabbed a piece of paper and wrote everything down for us--his directions were spot on, too. Also liked the fact that each table had its own flat screen tv as well as the usual large wall mounted tvs found in most sports bars. We enjoyed watching some World Cup soccer while we ate.
