We visit the main cafe: there is a mini cafe adjacent. The Coffee Mill is a great place to enjoy hearty Hungarian food in a comfortable environment and setting. They display original art on the walls and have a wonderful violinist playing in the evenings.
Friendliness of the wait staff, I find, often depends on friendliness of the patrons and it's no different here.
This winter has been rough, but a bowl of goulash soup, dine in or take out, has helped us to get through. The schnitzel, traditional or chicken, satisfies, and combined with mashed potatoes (and goulash gravy), along with red cabbage, is all one could ask for. Except, ask for the apple strudel to complete!
My wife enjoys the cabbage rolls and the wieners, good quality, are also a nice change, great with their potato salad. A pile of buttered rye bread is also a welcome addition for all meals.
We often eat here before a movie and invite friends, with full assurance that they will also enjoy the experience as much as we do.
