6 of us dined here....it's a nice restaurant where you can have conversation because you can hear, the service was very good. The wine list is extensive at all price points. As starters we had eggplant parm deemed excellent, apple/goat cheese salad very good and ceasar salad. The entres include pasta, meat, and a large selection of fish. The food is good but not wow ... linguine & meatballs deemed excellent, penne alla vodka OK, risotto with lamb was not well done as requested. Desert looked good.

Thank you for your comments, we appreciate your time in reviewing.
We are glad you enjoyed the service and ambience. we try to maintain a place where you can come time and time again and enjoy your stay with us.
We will definitely look at improving our execution of the penne alla vodka and lamb risotto.
Thank you for enjoying the eggplant parm which is all home made, apple and Caesar salad, and the linguine with meatballs! Just like our Nonna used to make.
Thank you,
Luca

I have been to Vibo a couple of times now and enjoyed everything about it. Everything I've tried there was delicious. The menu has lots to offer and the specials are varied and yummy! We had a fun server with a quick wit that we enjoyed and the piano player was a welcome touch to the evening. There was a really good energy here with a mostly full house of happy diners.
Looking forward to the next time...

My husband and I went to this very warm and friendly Italian restaurant. The service was A+1 warmly greeted at the door and our server Andrew should teach the course on Customer service 101. He was the perfect server. We ordered the eggplant dish from the appetizers, the cheese and crepe dish and the rack of lamb.. Everything was perfectly cooked..the tiramisu came in a stem glass and I think was made on the spot.. Prices were reasonable and I think is a favourite in the neighbourhood. Thank you Andrew for your excellent service we will be back

Visiting from Windsor and took my Mom for Valentines (the day after). Asked for a window seat and was easily accomadated. The server was just incredible, friendly, helpful and entertaining..The food was just amazing (I had the lamb). They paced the courses really well. Would highly recommend this place for a family or friends. A bit loud for intitmate dining however, but the décor and menu is great.

We arrived at Vibo in a raging snowstorm, and requested to be seated by the fire; however, the fire consisted of two small pieces of wood smoldering quietly, and produced little heat or atmosphere. The head waiter then seated two gentlemen at the table next us, and they proceeded to sprawl in their seats, and holler into their cellphones for most of the meal. The onus was on the head waiter to ask them to leave, but he did nothing. The least he could have done would have been to ask them to turn off their blowers and sit straight. The room was very noisy, and felt more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. The food was average, and to add insult to injury, they charged us the full cost of an evening meal when we had had the Winterlicious lunch. The waiter's response was that "It was an honest mistake." The use of the word "honest" sounded alarms with us; furthermore, they offered us nothing in return for the mistake, and di not apologize. Thank goodness my wife spotted it. To add insult to injury, we had to wait ten minutes to pay the bill. Overall, the service was cold and perfunctory, and a bit brusque.
We then trudged through the snow for a pint and a plate of delicious fries at Henry VIII pub just down the street. That is where we should have stopped in the first place: warmth, good food, good drink and a correct bill, as well as pleasant service.
So much for fine dining at Vibo.

Thank you for your feedback. We do appreciate all feed back.
The day of the snow storm we did open although there was a fresh blanket of a foot and a half of snow. Unfortunately one of our serves was not able to get in for work due to the conditions.
Although not by any means an excuse it did play a factor in the day.
We do apologize for our other guest who were too loud for the liking, it is a challenge at time for those who use their personal devices while dining.
Also we do take pride in our service and when one short we rush quicker and mistakes do happen. I personally apologize for the mistake on the bill. The $20 3 course prix fix for lunch is a different price than a dinner meal for sure and we did make a mistake. We are sorry.
We appreciate your feed back and we will strive to be better next time.
Thank you,
Luca
