Description: The original jewel in the Oliver & Bonacini crown and a North Toronto icon, Auberge du Pommier has been serving guests since 1987. Constructed around the rustic vestiges of two 1860’s woodcutters’ cottages, Auberge du Pommier combines country charm with contemporary sophistication and style. Featuring wood burning fireplaces in winter and lush, floral terraces in summer, it is a welcoming, refined retreat from the city. A modern French fine dining restaurant, Auberge du Pommier exudes a quiet confidence, reflecting a commitment to culinary excellence and inspired service. Auberge du Pommier is defining contemporary French cooking in Canada. The cuisine honours both the refined techniques and rustic styles of classic French fare, with an innovative North American accent. Simple yet elevated, seasonal menus focus on quality by using the finest ingredients, highlighting their natural flavours and textures and plating them elegantly. Through its appreciation of fine food and elegant presentation, its intelligent, sincere service and its French, country-inspired décor, Auberge du Pommier perfectly balances charm and sophistication, romance and refinement.

“worth the trip”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

VERY FRENCH! its fame is fair. it is a little far from the centre but it is worth the trip. Great service. Foia gras cooked to perfection, duck was great and desserts were good.
It is not the BEST meal ever but it is definitely worth a visit.
staff was very helpful and kind, great variety of ice wines.

“Great food and service!”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

I went here for Summerlicious and it is located in a random area in the city, but the restuarant is quite beautiful inside. This would be great for dates/anniversaries. I had their watermelon gazpacho and it was delicious. Definitely my favourite part of the meal. Then I had their crispy fish brandade which was lovely too. I had their olive oil cake, which had a tart lemon custard in the centre, which I loved. It was a lovely experience. The guy who served us was extremely friendly and knowledgable about what was being served :)

“BFFs Summerlicious at Auberge du Pommier”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

It has been quite sometime since we dined at Auberge du Pommier. So when Summerlicious in Toronto was launched again, we, three best friends, decided to lunch there. Once there, we were reminded why we liked this fine restaurant in the first place. It was classy, elegant, and the ambiance was just exceptional. The food was magnificent and the service was simply great. Strongly recommend to anyone wanting something special to go to.

“Fantastic!!!”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

Awesome building, like an old french cottage. Wait staff were exceptionally courteous, hostess and manager were all gracious and you know its their job to appreciate their guests!

Expensive but worth every dollar. Table of 8 for my wife's L9H 6P7, they made this one to remember for her. Everyone at the table raved about all their food choices.

Underground parking and convenient.

This place is a must try for everyone!

“Lunch of a lifetime!”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

During our honeymoon we wanted to stop here to treat ourself to a true foodie experience, and we were not disappointed.

Our server, Robert was great, friendly, and gave fantastic recommendations. The food was perfect, and stands as my wife's favorite green beans ever.

I'd recommend dinner there as the building has a wonderful charm to it, and if the weather is good - try the back porch for a relaxing time!
