We had a great stay at this luxurious condo in Toronto. It was an easy ride on the tram to the CBD and other places we wanted to visit like the Air Canada Centre for ice hockey game. Across the road is the aquatic centre where we had a swim.
The condo is clean, contains everything needed for a short stay and is decorated with taste and care. It was a joy to stay there.
Micheal was very good providing information on getting in despite being out of town. Responded very quickly to questions and concerns.
The location was a bit far to walk to the areas we wanted to go to, but it was right on the trolley line (fun) that connected to the subway so we had not trouble getting around. We took a cab once and that was also easy and reasonably priced.
Had a wonderful stay at this condo with my 5yr old. Got the UP express to Union station & from there a cab, about $12. If travelling light you could easily get the subway from Union to Dundas, 3 or 4 stops, & then 10 mins on the 505 streetcar from outside H&M getting off at the Sumach stop. The condo is just round the corner. We used the transit system throughout our stay. It's $3.25 exact fare & you can get a transfer ticket (driver automatically offers on the streetcar) to then use in the subway & vice versa.Great value especially compared to the London tube & very easy to navigate.
The condo itself is lovely. Was met by the owner Michael who filled us in & made himself available if needed throughout our stay. Well appointed with everything you could need - a real home from home. I'm a light sleeper so did need to use my eye shades in the bedroom as morning light filters through the blinds. The area is good for amenities too. There's a drugmart on the corner that sells groceries etc and a larger store a 5 min walk away. There's a Wendy's round the corner and a Subway store is opening soon. Across the road is the pool complex/park. It has a playground and splash pad area for kids which mine had great fun at. The pool is free to use - just need a padlock for your locker. Recommend you pick up a timetable as it offers different sessions. There was also film nights - think it was Thursday - where family films are screened outside in the park. Had a community feel and felt totally safe coming back at night. I'm so pleased I discovered this condo for our first visit to Toronto and would highly recommend to family and friends.
The apartment is on the 15th floor with fabulous views of the Toronto skyline. It is super comfy with a great bed and lots of pillows etc. We had 5 nights here and felt very at home. All the things you could need for a great stay. Lots of bus/trams to take you into the centre but also good to be able to walk and feel very safe.
Building is very secure with a concierge. We enjoyed visiting lots of the sites and bought a Toronto Pass. Cabbagetown was close by for good food as was the Distillery district (both about 15 min walk) Mill street brewery was great for a beer and very good food.
Michael was always available to answer any questions. A great place to stay
A fantastic place to stay and everything you need, would recommend this condo to anyone staying in Toronto.
This condo was our favorite vacation rental yet. It had everything we were looking for and was close to downtown. Michael was a great host and helped us get settled quickly. We visited Sumach coffee several times during our stay and walked downtown to several markets, a Jays game, and the Eaton Centre during our stay. We'll visit again!
The condo was perfect for our week in Toronto. It has everything you need to feel at home but still has a luxurious feel. It's walking distance to everything. Michael was very nice and super helpful! Will definitely be recommending this condo to friends and family!
