My wife and I spent $45 on meal and during our meal the wait staff placed a reservation sign on our table without explanation. So I asked another wait staff what the reservation sign was for and whether we had to leave or not? She replied that we could stay as long as we wanted to. However as the music played on we were rudely asked to leave our table and again without any clear explanation. My wife and I will not be returning to the Unicorn. Well at least the music was good!

Monday karaoke is hard to find in Toronto, especially on Boxing Day. The Unicorn was the only karaoke bar so we made the 20 minute subway trip to Eglinton. Crazy busy! And you could see right away they were totally understaffed and swamped.

Karaoke with Steve is really good so we might be back for that. Chicken wings were half price = good. Nachos got forgotten (due to understaffing) under the heat lamps and were somewhat dehydrated when we went up to get them ourselves. Five Amsterdam beers for $20 special on Monday was awesome. Bizarre mixture of 19 year olds and a 30+ crowd made for some entertaining singing too. Hopefully they plan their staffing better on future holidays because the evening had the potential to be awesome.
