“Very nice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 July 2014 via mobile

The atmosphere is very cosy without coming across as too dark and the food is the best Lebanese I've had around the Windsor area. The staff often come across as a touch pretentious but won't stop me from going here again and again.

“Superb food. Really.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

After having seen the great ratings here on TripAdvisor and the delicious-sounding menu, we had to try it. The place was quite busy, but we got a table for two without any problem on a Saturday evening anyway. The service was attentive and the food was just fantastic. It had been difficult to choose, but the Beef Shawarma and Shish Kabob were both absolutely worth. As a starter we had the stuffed grape leaves, which were delicious. I'd love to try nearly all of the dishes on the menu, since everything we saw them serve looked great.
It was a little dark in our corner, but given the spontaneous nature of our visit, I wouldn't want to complain about that either.

“Great Ambiance”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

Ate dinner on a Friday night. Had to get an early reservation as it was busy (always a good sign!). Best part of the evening was the service. Our waitress was spot on with her recommendations and timing. The garlic parsley hummus was spectacular along with their fresh hot pita. I had the beef shawarma. Very good, prepared home style like Lebanese comfort food. Hubby had the spinach stuffed chicken. A little dry but still tasty.
We will be back! Make reservations and check for Groupons.

“Great taste & large portion size”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014

Had food delivered from this restaurant recently. The food was delicious and the portion size was very generous. I am looking forward to visiting this restaurant to eat in very soon. Couldn't be happier with the food quality.

“Disappointed Veggies”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2014

Having seen lots of adverts for Mazaar we made a reservation for 6 p.m. On arrival no seats were available. We sat at the bar for 30 minutes. We ordered an appetizer and a fatoushe salad. Both were good and complimented the hot mini pitas. My wife ordered a shishkabob with tomatoes and I a combo with chicken and beef. Both came with rice. I was expecting grilled veggies like onions, peppers like the picture on their website. Instead we both got green beans out of a can, you know the ones with no colour and mushy. For the prices of the dinners there is no excuse to serve green beans out of the can. The prices are a little high for our dinners, $20 each and the final bill $66+ not including tax. The food was basically good and hot except for those terrible beans which my mother used to serve. We were told that neither of the advertized entertainment nights were available at this time.
