Caesars Windsor is a top notch hotel. I have stayed here several times over the last few years and the rooms are always spotless and comfortable. Service everywhere (except the front desk) is always excellent. The front desk staff is not as accomodating as the rest of the people. Once you get past that, its great. Restaurants are good, but there are limited options at breakfast. The casino is nice and clean...smoke-free too! Slot machines are pretty tight, but I did manage to break even for the trip.

Stayed two nights at Caesar's in WIndsor. We had a great room in the Forum tower that overlooked the skyline of Detroit. We watched the boats go up the river from our window while having a happy hour. The restraurants were busy, but the wait was not long. The guys in Valet gave us directions to some local attractions and directions to local restraurants where the food was good, plentiful and relatively in expensive. We saw a great concert while we were there and the Colliseum is a good concert hall.
Gambling was not so good, until the last night and we came back from all we had lost.
What's to say, we had a great time and we will be back.

I brought my wife and 3-year-old on a business trip here, and we stayed in the Augusta Tower. First the negatives. The hotel is not kid-friendly. There are no food/beverage outlets in the Augusta Tower (that are open every day, at least) and, unless you walk around the property outside, the only way to get to the Forum tower is through the casino... again, no kids allowed. The swimming pool is open to 19+ guests. So a family-oriented venue it is not.

The positives. Despite not being a kid-friendly property, every single member of the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating to my family. For example, housekeeping had no problem with us moving a bed against the wall (so our child doesn't fall out while she sleeps), and the valet parking staff were great to my wife and child as they came and went on day trips. I felt like they were really keen on making us feel welcome and cared for. Plain and simple, the staff were great all around, and they (not the property) ultimately made our stay great.

The room we had was large and comfortable for a family of three, and the bathroom, too, was large and commodious. One final note: the casino sports bar, Legends, makes what is perhaps the best-tasting hamburger I've ever had.

This was our second stay at this property over the last two years. Both trips were for concerts that were at their venue. Being a total rewards member our room was comped. We stayed in the Augustus tower, and the room was nice and clean.

I love the casino here....I travel to Vegas often, and I actually prefer this caesar's over the one in Vegas.

What we thought was strange was that there are not too many dining options and their hours of opertation...especially late kinda stink. We stayed during the week, when they do not have a breakast buffet, and the lunch buffet opens at 12 and closes at 9, the steakhouse Nero's closes at 9, and there is no room service past 11pm. During our stay we ate at Legends sports bar, and the buffet, and enjoyed the food at both.

Our biggest complaint was that there was no wifi, and if you wanted it they charged you $14 a day.

Oh almost forgot...all of the staff is very friendly. Everyone we came into contact with was very pleasant.

I would stay here again.

My significant other and I recently stayed here and LOVED IT! We booked our room using Expedia and got a great rate (under $100). Neither of us gamble so we did not spend much time in the casino, but the hotel in its entirety was clean, convenient and NON SMOKING! Our room was in the new tower, and was quite large (there was even some room for dancing!) There were giant windows, and we had a view of the city of Windsor, the river, and Detroit.
We stayed here on a Wednesday night so we could go to a Tiger's game. The drive was fast and easy. I would probably not recommend walking around the city at night. We walked to McDonald's around 11pm and the area was definitely sketchy.

The trip to Caesars Windsor was very entertaning and relaxing. The hotel was very large (small scale version of Vegas). The drive from Chicago was short, comfortable, and enjoyable. Hotel services was great, pool and sanau, was nice. Launch restaurant needs to know the difference between Bar-be que and grill chicken!!!(small misunderstanding) Overall will defintely recommend to friends and family.

Room Tip: Suggest rooms in Forum Tower very nice view of Detroit skyline. Tunnel barbeque short distance fro...
