We tried the mussels as part of the daily special and they were delicious. We also had lobster. It is offered in varying sizes so depending on how hungry you are, you can order an appropriate amount. The meat on the lobster was tender and the tail was partially cracked which made it easier to eat. The service was friendly and very attentive. The restaurant also was not noisy so it was easy to carry on a conversation. Nice place!

Great time with my husband. Perfect for a romantic dinning. The oysters are the stars of this restaurant.
Also had the yuzu salmon and lobster risotto. The risotto wasn't my favorite, but my husband really liked it.
Also suggest the dattes pudding.

We started with the kala cesaer salad, steamed mussels and some assorted mussels. The mains were surf & turf and the tenderloin. Everything was absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. I can't say enough about the freshen and flavour of everything we had.

To be fair, we did have one mildly under cooked scallop and a rookie waitress, but neither was an issue

We arrived a little early, around 4, restaurant does not open until 5,we went upstairs for the dollar oyster special from 4-6pm and a few cold ones. Upstairs is a Pub, apps were average, oysters were average, small, but what you would expect for a dollar. We went downstairs for dinner, we did not have a reservation but the restaurant was very kind in sitting us. Reservations were strongly suggested, we went on a Tuesday night and when we left all tables were full. Our server did a great job, good knowledge of the menu, she was patient with the hundreds of questions we asked. The food quality was high, and the combination and use of ingredients was accomplished with a high degree of skill. The Seafood Chowder was awesome. I have had many a serving in the many years visiting the Island, and this was by far the best. The Kale Caesar Salad was delicious, Salt Cod Cakes were just like mom use to make(to quote my better half).... A serving of Irish Soda Bread was a nice touch and very appreciated. One of the mains was a bit less than expected, the Pan Fried Haddock was a bit salty, capers were plentiful, probably a bit more than what was needed. The Galway Bay, shrimp and Scallops were excellent. Deserts were also excellent, Bread Pudding was great, a very large portion, good for two, and the the Nightly Special of Angel Food Cake, different Berries, ice cream, and whip cream was a perfect finish to a great meal. The only negative was the excessive saltiness to the Fried Haddock, but overall a great meal, we would go again. The meals although slightly above average cost represented a good value, presentation and taste were very high. Cost for four, app's to dessert for all, including a 20% tip was $265.
