My husband and I were in Charlottetown recently and made a point of visiting this historic site. It was exciting to go for the 150th anniversary of the Charlottetown conference of 1864 and to see the rooms where the nation of Canada was founded. The video you see at the beginning sets the stage for your tour of the various rooms. There are lots of paintings, and authentic items of the time period. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and there is a nice little gift shop with reasonably priced keepsakes. I recommend taking a tour of this wonderful building that is so significant to our history!
