First of all, I have stayed in numerous hotels, hostels, motels, cabins, huts around the world and there is truly nothing more cozy than a Bed and Breakfast. Having said that, I had a wonderful opportunity to stay at The Dawson House for New Year's Eve 2013. Although we were fortunate to book the 'bridal suite', ALL of the rooms are very charming! Each room is bright, clean and full of all the comforts of home - huge Jacuzzi bathtubs, lots of light, comfortable beds and plenty of unique furniture pieces ready for short-term or long-term storage. The lovely owners are very energetic (super experienced with international hospitality), extremely conversational and able to accommodate any requests. The dining room is gorgeous and the food was amazing - not your typical 'continental' menu, lots of options, even for the fussy guests! I would consider the mealtime atmosphere a great blend of a 5-star-restaurant and the comfort of dining at your own home! Anyway - I really enjoyed my experience and I highly recommend staying there.:)
