“Charming Bed & Breakfast”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

Stayed at the Best Western the first night we arrived in Charlottetown PEI. Quite pricey for the 4 nights we wanted to stay. Decided to look for a B & B and was so glad we chose The Dawson House. Innkeepers Stacy and Randy were just so hospitable and friendly. Our room was just lovely, very clean, comfortable beds. Stacy made wonderful breakfasts and Randy was just so helpful suggesting places to go and restaurants to eat. My husband and Randy would sit at the breakfast table and just talk. We really enjoyed this place and highly recommended it. So homey and comfortable. We hated to leave but had to head back to the USA - Connecticut. Thank you so much for our lovely stay in your lovely town of Charlottetown.

Room Tip: Can't say enough about this lovely inn. You won't be sorry you stayed. Stacy and Randy are g...

From the moment we walked in the door we felt like we were at home. Our host Randy was excellent carrying our luggage up to our room and then spent time talking to us about their home and city. The next morning we were welcomed at breakfast by Stacey (Randy's better half) and enjoyed an excellent breakfast. If you are looking for a great place to stay this is it.

My sister and I had the most wonderful time in Charlottetown and our stay at Dawson's was the icing on the cake! The staff were great fun and our rooms were beautifully kept and well looked after. We always looked forward to breakfast and Dawson's was a great place of rest after sightseeing all day. We would definitely stay at Dawson's again, it was a home away from home, very special

This was our first B&B for both of us as well as my boyfriend's first visit to the East Coast. Stacey, Randy and Dawson made us feel like family. Their hospitality was typical of the East Coast and we can't wait to see them on future visits. The French toast and banana muffins were delicious our first day and eggs with croissants wrapped up day 2 just right.

Now I'm a dog lover so Dawson and I hit it off. For those of you who may not be dog lovers not to worry, she was the most well behaved and trained dog I've come across in along time. If you didn't want her around she would stay in the kitchen until called.

Thank you again for the lovely memories.

We had a wonderful time here. Friendly and very helpful host with an excellent breakfast. The room was cosy and clean, the location excellent and the dog, also called Dawson, was also very friendly and happy to see everyone. We couldn't recommend this place more, and if we're ever in Charlottetown again, there's no question that we'll stay here.

First of all, I have stayed in numerous hotels, hostels, motels, cabins, huts around the world and there is truly nothing more cozy than a Bed and Breakfast. Having said that, I had a wonderful opportunity to stay at The Dawson House for New Year's Eve 2013. Although we were fortunate to book the 'bridal suite', ALL of the rooms are very charming! Each room is bright, clean and full of all the comforts of home - huge Jacuzzi bathtubs, lots of light, comfortable beds and plenty of unique furniture pieces ready for short-term or long-term storage. The lovely owners are very energetic (super experienced with international hospitality), extremely conversational and able to accommodate any requests. The dining room is gorgeous and the food was amazing - not your typical 'continental' menu, lots of options, even for the fussy guests! I would consider the mealtime atmosphere a great blend of a 5-star-restaurant and the comfort of dining at your own home! Anyway - I really enjoyed my experience and I highly recommend staying there.:)

We are so happy we stayed at the Dawson House.
Everything from the super clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful house all decorated for the season, to the fantastic hot breakfasts, chatting with hosts Stacey and Randy, to the WiFi everywhere, and more we really loved everything about the Dawson House.
We highly recommend.

Room Tip: We stayed in the front room second floor. Very nice!
