At the end of a trip to PEI that centered west of Charlottetown (Summerside, Anne-land) that was fun, but culinarily disappointing, we finally came to Charlottetown and happened on Casa Mia. I should say that we are vegetarian, and much of the rest of the province was like traveling in the States in the 50s or 60s for vegetarians - just not much available. Lots of grilled cheese and other greasy, boring food. So we were very happy to find Casa Mia with it's varied choices and interesting flavors. The Italian/Mediterranean sandwiches reminded us of the best of Italy itself, and we also loved dessert.
