Had the Connemara Shepherd's Pie with roasted potatoes instead of mashed, with mixed veggies on the side. It was excellent. Didn't leave a crumb on the plate!

Although this was not the best pub we've been in the staff was friendly and the food was alright. A good alternative to a fast food place for sure!

We visited The Old Triangle on a Friday evening on our recent trip to PEI. Surprisingly we were able to book a table for 12 at prime time on what is typically their busiest night. A good and varied menu, with selections you wouldn't normally associate with a pub. Next to the standard fish n chips was pan seared halibut with fresh local vegetables. I ordered the later and it was excellent, cooked perfect and very good value. An added bonus was that Richard Wood and Gordon Belcher were performing that evening. A world class fiddler who has played around the world, performing in a local pub with no cover charge. Does'nt get much better than that. What a great evening. If you get the chance, visit when Richard is playing. He and Gordon Belcher put on a great show.

Awesome evening and awesome entertainment
We went to this pub on a Thursday evening, so you have two great things going for you, the steak special and the entertainment.
We were in a group of four and each ordered the steak and all asked for it to be cooked differently. Every meal came out perfect and cooked exactly as requested. Simply put, one of the best steaks I have ever ate in Charlottetown.
As for the music, Vintage 2.0 was a highlight to the evening. They were able to get the crowd into the fun that they were having fun entertaining us. Requests from guests were handled amazing well and a great night was had by all.
All and all this is a great place to head out to have a drink, a meal, and/or great music.

Loved this intimate venue for a wedding reception we were attending. Thestaff were very friendly and accomodating considering the number of people in attendance. The food was simply delicious and plenty of it! the entertainment was a live band and the sound in the room was nothing short of amazing!
