Why a surprise? Looking in through the window doesn't show the restaurant very well, but the delicious food and pleasant & attentive service easily won out. The brushetta ($8.95 -- house bread, tomatoes, basil, garlic and olive oil) and the bacca ($9.50 -- mixed greens, seasonal berries, balsamic vinaigrette and goat cheese snow) appetizers were quite delicious and the Fettuccina de Mare ($23.05 and they were obliging enough to switch out the mussels for some additional of the other seafood) and the Gnocchi Aragosta ($23.05 - PEI potato gnocchi, Island lobster, cream, herbs, spinach and arugula) were tremendous. As you'll see from the photos the food was plentiful (and very fresh) and came piping hot. Other diners around us were also having the Gnocchi and everyone was commenting on how delicious it was.
A convenient location to the Confederation Centre of the Arts which is basically just across the street.
