“Good Value for clean accommodation in what can be an expensive town”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

We had the standard room with two full beds and no cooking facilities. The room was quite small but the beds were comfortable. There was a tiny corner desk shelf and two chairs and limited space. The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything was spotless and the laundry facilities were very welcome. There was some water temperature variation during busy shower times and a bit of noise between units. The location is on a very busy street but back far enough that the room was quiet. Outside of the downtown Charlottetown area but a quick drive in and easy to travel to other spots in PEI. Although not as upscale as downtown, a variety of restaurants in the area. Overall, good for the price but if we were staying again, the suites may be better due to the tight space in the standard room.

I was here for one night. It certainly met our needs. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The pictures on the site are an accurate depiction of the Inn. It's a little rustic, so if you're looking for something fancy, this probably isn't the place for you to stay. It's just down the street from Cows Creamery (great ice cream) where tours are available. It's also in close proximity to Anne of Green Gables chocolates, restaurants, grocery stores, and other shopping.

Room Tip: I enjoyed the kitchenette suite with a separate bedroom and a hideaway couch.

We were given an end unit suite and stayed for seven days. We loved having a small kitchen and separate living space from the bedroom. The bed was very comfy and the AC was nice and cold. It was very quiet and peaceful despite being located on the Trans-Canada highway. The owners, Shawn and Gail, were very accommodating and personable, even when our visit was cut short one day after getting stranded in Newark. The decor was a little dated, but everything was spotless and very well-maintained. In fact, their housekeeping staff could teach some of the high end five-star hotels I've stayed in how to clean a room.

Clean and comfy on all counts, very helpful knowledgeable owner, snow white linens, coffee, tea microwave, fridge available in common kitchen. BBQ, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, croquet, available for guests on spacious lawn. We enjoyed the beautiful pots of flowers throughout the property. Convenient location on city outskirts, 5 minutes from downtown Charlottetown. We would have preferred queen bed instead of two doubles in our standard room, but their suites apparently all have queens and sofa beds. A very enjoyable three night stay!

Room Tip: Suites have Queen beds, standard rooms two doublles

What a lovely property!
It was nice to have so much room; a living room and kitchen table; small kitchenettes with everything we needed plus more! High end coffee complimentary. The place was very clean and very quiet at night...even during the day. It was a good location for us to stay and begin our day touring the island in different directions. Our room overlooked a grassy lawn with a croquet set for us to use. There were also grills and picnic tables to use.

Sean was extremely helpful with suggestions on what to see and where to eat. He even had recommendations for Nova Scotia. I have never had an owner spend so much time with us on restaurant suggestions and things to do. It would be worth staying here just to have all of the information.

We booked directly with him and received a good rate.

Room Tip: We had one of 3 rooms on second level; very quiet. Sean is working towards new furnishings, so if t...

We decided to stay here due to the kitchenette, we were pleasantly surprised the kitchen had everything you need coffee maker, toaster, utensils, etc... It smelled really nice and was super clean. Fresh towels daily, hair dryer, free local calls. Air conditioner which worked really well. It is right off of a main roadway and we never heard any traffic. Great central location. Never heard anyone in the rooms around us and it was full. Never heard voices or a even a tv in the next room. Extremely quiet. Staff was friendly. There was even free wifi, but we did not need it. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose a suite, have a living room and a kitchenette. Nice having the option to eat in or out. Ea...

The rooms were large and clean, with full size fridge. The bed was comfortable and the rooms quiet although near a main street. The grounds have lots of space. The owner? was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and things to see on our first visit to the area.
