My husband and I stayed here for three nights recently.
The Fairholm is overpriced. We stayed in the Haviland Suite. One of the bedside lamps had no lightbulbs in it, the remote for the TV wouldn't work, the seal around the shower door was loose, allowing water out onto the bathroom floor, the drawer on the nightstand broke when I opened it. There was not enough light in the room, could have used a floor lamp or two. The front door was hard to open so that host had to come open it for us twice. The front porch was not very well kept. Breakfasts were good. There was very little interaction with the hosts, only saw them at breakfast or if there was a problem.
