We were very pleased when we arrived at this very upscale B&B. The rooms are large, most have outside seating, and the grounds are filled with perennials. The location is great as you can walk downtown or to the docks which are close by. The inn keepers Vicki and Martha are full of local information and are wonderful to work with. They made excellant recommendations on were to go, were to eat, and best roads to travel. Early morning breakfast was a treat, and I really like the all night self service coffee/ tea station.

The B&B is the older victorian style but the inside has been completely updated with additions, large rooms, and plenty of off street parking if needed. Beds are firm and all decked out with pillows and comforters.

Our small group of four voted the Cranford Inn the BB of the Trip. We stayed at 6 locations this trip so that says something. A golf trip and stay at the Cranford is in the works for 2014.

I Highly recommend staying at this property! 10 out of 10 if you need a number.

Room Tip: First floor if you do not like stairs.

We could not have picked a better place to start our vacation. Vicki and Martha's recommendations of things to do and places to see were top notch! We stayed in the sapphire room with a front porch. The ambience and beautiful room was warm and inviting. It's a short walk to area restaurants and entertainment. The breakfast was fantastic! When we come back to visit charlottetown this is the only place we will stay, it's just perfect!

I am so glad we chose this particular B&B. It could not have been more spacious and comfortable. We stayed in the Emerald Room which has a gas fireplace in the rooms sitting area and a balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. I loved the fact that this B&B is more contemporary in it's design and decoration. Our innkeepers could not have been more accommodating, from providing us with ice and glasses for our cocktails to recommending excellent restaurants and suggesting the best way to tour the island. In addition, our breakfasts were beautiful and delicious. It's one of the few B&B's where I looked forward to spending a couple of hours each day just relaxing by the fire or in the garden. The Cranford Inn is also walking distance to the waterfront and excellent restaurants.

Room Tip: I would suggest a room on the back of the house that overlook the garden.

We stayed in the Sandstone room (great view of the beautiful gardens) for 3 nights. The Cranford is the best B & B we have stayed in. The rooms and overall inn are beautifully decorated in a clean, modern style (not all those knick knacks you find in many B & Bs) and the owners, Vicki and Martha are wonderful hosts. They provide information on restaurants within walking distance, places to visit on PEI and all their recommendations were right on. A perfect place to stay if you are visiting PEI.

Room Tip: The Sandstone room is a large room that has a king sized bed, a fireplace for chilly nights and is v...

We are golfers and wanted a central location so that we could explore the island. We chose Charlottetown and the Cranford Inn based on the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. It more than met our expectations. The hosts, Vickie and Martha, were very friendly and provided lots of local advice. Rooms are well appointed. Breakfast was superb. The location is within a short walk to all of downtown Charlottetown, and only a few blocks from the Cultural Center, which host the PEI classic, Anne of Green Gables every summer. Lot's of great restaurants to choose from - our favorite was Lot 30.

The Cranford Inn was the most wonderful B&B that my husband and I ever experienced. The owners, Vicki and Martha, were very friendly and they made sure that we had everything we needed, to include packing a breakfast each morning for my husband who had early golf tee times. The B&B itself was just as advertised on its website, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. We stayed in the Sapphire room that had its own porch. Having the porch was great. I got to sit out there each morning, and at the end of the day my husband and I had a great place to relax. The breakfasts were "over the top," freshly baked muffins and bread, fruit, and wonderful main breakfast courses. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on PEI.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the Topaz and Opal room. The B&B was exactly as it was shown on photos on their website. It was well decorated, modern, clean, tidy and comfortable. It feels more like a boutique inn than a B&B.

The owners, Vicki and Martha have taken a lot of care in the house and garden. The house is spotless and the back garden is beautiful. Located just a walk short from downtown Charlottetown, Vicki and Martha gave us good advice where to visit and eat. They even gave us an annual National Park pass so we didn't have to pay the entrance fee when we went to Greenwich beach.

Breakfast was the best part along with cookies and coffee/tea readily available all day long. What really surprised me about the house is it's really quiet and doesn't feel like the usual B&B where you hear other guests taking showers, talking, walking etc.

It's definitely a great place to stay in Charlottetown and has much more character than the other run of mill hotels in town.
