“Excellent tour!”
Reviewed 22 September 2012

A wonderful boat ride out across the harbor to see the seals. We got much closer than I had expected and were given an great view of the seals. Our captain, Chris, and guide, Kevin, were very knowledgable and friendly.

We even got to stop and pull up a lobster trap. The captain gave an excellent description of how the trap worked, showing us the lobster and and providing many details about both the lobster and the industry. To top it off, we were given a chance to steer the boat on the way back which was very fun.

Definitely recommend this tour.

“Fun and worthwhile tour”
Reviewed 10 August 2012

We visited Charlottetown PEI in late June and were fortunate to go out on one of the first tours of the season. The captain Mark and his guide were both helpful and engaging, and we saw a great spectacle of harbour seals and grey seals, as well as a few blue herons to add to the beauty of the view. On our return to Charlottetown the captain invited several of the young visitors to have the experience of driving the boat while under his supervision - they even got to don the captain's hat which made for a great picture and souvenir. A great tour and a great experience at a reasonable price.

“Beauty Beyond the Cobble Stone”

Charlottetown is a beautiful walkable city with a history to share around every corner, but did you know. . . there are seals living near an Island just a small cruise away??

We ventured out with Prince Edward Boat Tours to see the seals, and seals we saw along with several birds that make the Hillsborough Bay their home. Also, we learned to the difference between a Ranch Light and a Lighthouse! Plus, we hauled a lobster trap.

Our guide Elizabeth was charming, funny and full of Island knowledge. It was raining just a little the day we were aboard the Prince Edward I, but Elizabeth ensured it did not dampen our time on the water.

Island Discovery Seal Watching Tour was a nice compliment to our City Double Decker Tour. Thanks Prince Edward Tours for making our stop in Charlottetown a pleasurable one.

“Friendly and fun!”
Reviewed 9 August 2012

I recently visited Prince Edward Island for the "Anne of Green Gables" experience. Just by luck, someone handed me a tourist map in Charlottetown, and it happened to have an advertisement for Prince Edward Boat Tours. The launch point, Stanley Bridge, was right around the corner from my hotel. What luck!
Our guides on this trip were Captain Chris and tour guide extraordinaire Elizabeth. They were both so friendly and knowledgeable! They didn't mind that the two crazy Americans were asking as many questions about Canadian jobs, politics, and education as we were about the shipwrecks and beautiful sand dunes we passed on the tour.
The Prince Edward Boat Tour "Shipwrecks and Seascapes" was the best attraction on my all-too-brief visit to PEI. I'm sure I'll come back to PEI and I'm sure I'll check out one of the other Prince Edward Boat Tours!
