“An awesome place and we sure will be back!”
Reviewed 8 September 2011

My husband and I stayed here the long weekend in September and we found the service to be wonderful! Our room was one of the luxruy rooms and it was lovely. We enjoyed having our own private deck which looked on the Bay....what a wonderful view! We found that the Motel was close to restaurants, which were awesome and also not far from attractions, only 30 minutes from Cavendish!
The best thing that we liked was, at night we could not hear people in the other rooms and even though the Motel is near the highway, it was very quite! I would certainly recommend this Motel to anyone.

This motel was clean, beautiful, close to the ocean. A person came out as soon as we stopped and welcomed us by name. Very personal. Will be recommending this place to any friends that may be going to PEI. Thank you

This experience was better than staying at a hotel because it had the room quality and cleanliness of a great hotel with the added bonuses of affordable prices and the personal touches you can only get from a family business.

The Rooms:
We stayed in the newly renovated rooms with new tvs, fridge, microwave, tasteful artwork, fresh paint. There were two comfortable Queen sized beds (Beautyrest mattresses).

The property:
The property is huge - there is a beautiful trail in a forest that leads to the edge of a river (the walk is about 1km long). There is also a pretty gazebo where you can sit and read.

People:
Myles Clark (the owner) and his family is very friendly. You can see they are proud of their family business.

Location:
Very convenient location in Summerside. If you are doing the tourist trails "North Cape Coastal Drive" or "Red Sands" or "Green Gables", the motel is at the intersection of these circuits.

Overall, a wonderful home away from home.

We slept in one of the renovated motel rooms and really like what has been done to upgrade the room to today's taste (beautiful furniture, appealing colours, iPhone alarm clock and comfortable beds) at a really reasonable price. Also very clean. Beautiful gardens and well-located. Seemed soundproof rooms since we didn't hear our neighbours and couldn't hear the traffic even though the motel is located on a busy highway. We really did appreciate the owner's hospitality. Would gladly stay there again and recommend the motel to a friend.

I stayed here in August for three days with my two grand daughters, it was clean and the newly renovated room was perfect. The manager was so helpful in recommending a place to get my car fixed and driving me to a restaurant to pick up food. Service well above what is expected. Loved the property and the flowers, will certainly recommend this motel.

The manager was so nice and welcoming here! He remembered us only the second time we called, gave us advice, accomodated our late arrival, and was very helpful. The room was spotless and comfy, with a beautiful garden view. This town is a perfect location for sightseeing as its really close to the bridge, and along the coast so a good spot to start a coastal perimeter drive. Amazing value
