Owner description: This museum includes several galleries dedicated to various architectural styles and serves as an interesting example of postmodern architecture itself.

Please make time to visit this museum which was built in the late 1980's over the original home and building foundations and graves of Montreal's early settlers. It is an experience like none other and we would recommend taking the narrated tour which gave great insight to Montreal's history in both English and French.

On a wet day in Montreal this was a good place to visit. Probably more interest to an architect but still learned a bit of design. Good research centre , but not a somewhere that is too great.

The exhibits are hard core architecture related and not really set up for the average lay person to be able to fully absorb. There is some cool "out there" modern exhibits as well as a relatively recent history of the use of computers to design structures. There are also some very nice scale models of architectural concepts.

If you don't go on the free day, you pay quite a bit. Parking is free if you are one of the first 10 people to park there.

The museum itself is a mix of old and new buildings, and while interesting, isn't exactly a masterclass in either period.

Interesting place. Vital for architecture buffs. Skip it if you only have causal interest.

The Center is more than an Architecture museum. It is rather a Centre for Urbanism. Great exhibitions for both Montreal and foreign cities, as well as very interesting conferences, and research.

Went 2 adults 2 kids 20$ for 5 rooms with pictures, free on Wednesdays, wow:(,
I'm a big fan of archtecture, but this place isn't worth the visit. Afrer 30 minutes we were done the 1st floor, I went looking for the other floors to learn that there are no other floors.
VERY disappointing.
