This is an amazing place, regardless of your beliefs. The location is stunning, and the entirety of the grounds and building form a harmonious whole that is unforgettable. No wonder 2 million+ visitors come to the site. The grounds should be explored, as well. The Stations of the Cross are beautifully rendered, and there are fountains and other features that are serene and lovely, and away from the large crowds. Inside is very special. The grandeur of the space, the materials used, the art deco features, and the soviet-style architectural features make it a space you will never forget. Check out the amazing stained glass, altar, chapel, lighting and massive organ, as they are sights to behold. It should be cold based on how large the church is and the cement and other materials, but it is just the opposite. It is warm and calming, and, frankly, breath-taking. I could stay hours in there and on the site; there is just so much to take in. Other than parking, it is free to enter. Please be respectful of where you are at - this is a place of worship. Do not pose for group shots or selfies. Take in the space peacefully and quietly. I will always return to this place.

Lovely place! Didn't get a chance to go inside but seeing it as part of a Tour of Montreal is a must!

Really neat place to see and learn about - very pretty not like the Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal but still worthy to see especially if you are of that faith . He had done much for others and that was good to find out too

An amazing place to visit while in Montreal. Has been adapted very well so that you do not have to climb a million stairs to see the Basilica.
